THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN AVENTURA LEARNING CENTERS!!. To our anonymous writer, Mrs. Carla Cruz:

Thank you for your interest in Aventura Learning Centers, acknowledged businesses and our individual essence. The school enrollment records do not reflect anyone (student/parent) past or present by this name, leaving us to believe this is a fictitious name, Scam or another establishment posting incorrect information for competitive purposes. Since 1997, we have been full time “on site” owners, who have a passion and honor for Aventura Learning Center schools, this is what sets us apart from other similar programs. We take pride in our schools and ensure to reflect that on the school grounds and in our career. Upon opening in 1997, Aventura Learning Centers has provided quality preschool education to the children of this great community. We take great pride and commitment in ensuring our students receive a valuable preschool educational experience, including a strong, challenging, comprehensive academic program, catered meals and a safe, structured and loving environment. Our reputable business of the last 15+ years and longevity demonstrates what a great job our staff, parent involvement and school administrators are performing with great detail. I appreciate having the opportunity to express to our administrators, staff and parents the pride we have in being designated as a quality, accredited and gold seal program. We work hard every day to inform parents about the effort that it takes to assure quality is delivered and experienced by the children enrolled in our facility. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and if you need further assistance or clarification feel free to contact me.

Aventura Learning Centers will not knowingly mislead, deceive or disappoint our students, staff, families or faculty, for we have nothing to gain from such an act. If for any reason you or anyone has any questions, comments or concerns my doors are always open and my direct number is 305-940-0475, I look forward to hearing from you.

Respectfully,

Mrs. Eileen Otero

STAY AWAY SAVE YOURSELF THE GRIEF. This school has been a HUGE dissapointment! I could go on all day about everything that I hated about this school. Just check the reviews or ask parents on their way out from picking up their child (away from the camera s at the school). The money-hungry owners are not dedicated to your childs education, for them this is just another business opportunity/investment (they own several other properties including the Aventura Learning Center Shopping Plaza located next door to the school where they also own & run a restaurant called Aventura Latin Cafe , plus two condo s in N. Miami Beach, in addition to their huge water-front home in North Miami where they park their 40 ft. boat in order to travel to their other home in Bimini that they are now selling in order to build themselves an even larger home in Bimini since they will be spending more time there now that they are also opening up a hotel in Bimini). All this info can be verified on the internet or just ask them. They used to live in the condo s across the street from the school, but they won the Florida Lottery and apparently forgot what it s like to not have enough money to give your child what they deserve. If your child is VPK-only, he/she will be treated as a second-class citizen at this school and at the end of the school year is when you find out that VPK ends a month before their official school year ends. That is when they will tell you that you need to pay $540 for your child to attend the last month of school (not required by VPK) in order to have the priviledge of paying them another $100 for your child to participate in the graduation ceremony. Most of us could not afford to pay this so our kids don t get to graduate with their friends. Smells like blackmail. I really don t know how they sleep at night!
