Tips for Longlife Automotive, Inc.

Very friendly! A few hours after I had dropped my car off I received a call from the owner MITCH ; he spent 15 minutes on the phone with me going over exactly what work needed to be done and why. He explained how the parts he was fixing worked (I am NOT a car person!) and gave me quotes of what each repair would cost and the estimated labor. They were quick, their rates are good and they do good quality work - best of all no one talks down to you, which is rare among the mechanics I've been to in the last few years.

Longlife changes alternator and drains battery. I had the worst experience with Longlife Auto despite and partly because of the good reviews. My car would not start and was towed by AAA who referred Longlife who was nearby while my regular auto repair guy was almost 20 miles away. Longlife was to replace the alternator. Several days before my regular auto service diagnosed the alternator problem, giving a clean bill of health to the battery. I did not have time to get the job done then and thought I had a few days. No luck. Problem #1 Longlife did the work but his credit card service did not work and drove me several miles to to my bank to pay in cash. A good half hour wasted. Problem #2 - By the end of the day the car stalled again. The next morning AAA towed the car back. The battery had to be replaced because he had drained it admitting not knowing how to turn off the A/C despite that it was clearly on the dashboard. I was advised that the battery now had to be replaced despite that he depleted it. He took no responsibility. Problem #3 - The car stalled again after the battery replacement. Luckily I was nearby my regular auto service guy who proved reliable as usual. Problem #4 - I tried to send him an email but Longlife website is totally dysfunctional. The email I tried to send bounced, the links to Facebook and Twitter did not work and the misspellings made the site as bad as the service. I filed a complaint with AAA and they seem to be quite interested in my laundry list of problems. We'll see Do not use this service. Mitch is the owner and is a righteous non consumer friendly so and so. I truly believe that the positive reviews on this site are not real.

Yes a real student disconut !!!!!!!. Yes a real student discount !!!!!!! My family has been coming to Longlife Automotive for approximately 9 years.

I highly recommend this facility for good work, reasonable prices, honesty and reliability.

This is the only place I will take my car for repairs. These guys are incredible. They call and let you know exactly what is going on with your car, and charge you a fair price for the work. They have a student discount, will take you home/pick you up if needed and will even arrange tow service for you if needed.

Every time I have had work done here I always leave feeling better about it, I have referred my friends at Barry University Miami Shores Florida.

Great!! Miami transmission shop!. Great!! Miami transmission shop! I went to four different shops for estimates. My Jeep Commander was transmission acting funny, like engaging in 4+4 by its self. Took it to three shops that wanted me to buy a transfer case for almost two thousand dollars. One shop wanted $125.00 to check it out. I should have gone to Longlife Automotive first. I dropped it off and two hours later they called and said to pick it up. I asked what you mean. He said its done and fixed. He found a wire that was disconnect, He fixed it and said about $65.00 should cover it. I said wow no problem!!! It’s been working with no problems at all for about a month now. Go see them first and save the running around.

Fair Prices and Services. I've been taking my car to Longlife Automotive for the past five years and am very pleased. The manager's name is Paul, who is soft spoken, mild mannered, friendly, pleasant, and customer oriented.

It's a small shop, with only six repair bays, but unless the job is complicated, or they need to order special parts, if you bring your car in early in the morning, you can often pick it up that evening or early the next morning.

I always feel I'm being treated fairly and not being sold unnecessary repairs. Paul will give you options and explain the different pricing. He'll make a recommendation, but you're the ultimate decision maker.

I've been to many auto repair shops for the pass twenty, but Longlife Automotive is # 1

Great Guys and Help-full. I noticed the brakes *squeeeeeeek*. I called Longlife Automotive, and the guy told me to bring it right in and they would check it. Great, go to pick it up after the test only to have him say that he couldn't hear it. (But they took a look anyway and found them "perfect.") What? So I drove it around, and couldn't hear it either. A couple days later, there it was again. I called and Rick said picked the car up: "If you hear it again, just come by and pull one of us into the car." I thought about that. I also thought about the fact that the squeak is occasional and very faint. These guys are great.

Fair Prices & Service. Just moved to Miami Florida from Maine and had my Jeep

Liberty sent by truck. On arrival I took to the dealership for a checkup was

actually making some noise for a while. Anyway, they said a repair was needed on

the rear differential and wanted to charge more than $1,500 for the fix. I took

the car to longlife Automotive (after seeing all the reviews over here) and I

have no regrets, the service was way cheaper, the guys are very friendly and the

car is running great. Thank you guys!

These gus are great!. I was researching a few places to get my transmission flush. A couple of other transmission shops tried to tell me that wasn’t possible and would have to pay over $200. Unfortunately for those auto shops were trying to take advantaged. I have a friend with the same vehicle and I know those other shops were trying to make a quick profit off of me. So I began a Google search and Longlife Automotive came up several times and had favorable reviews. I went in for a drain and fill for $60! Unfortunately I got bad news that my transmission was going bad! This wasn’t a complete surprise though, I had a feeling. Bad luck to be me! Pauli explained everything to me and gave me a great price, I checked around after I got home. The next day I return and had my transmission repaired. Longlife Automotive now has a new lifelong customer!
