You Gotta Try This Place.
This place has a fantasic Jambalaya!! You can't get it until 5pm, but it's worth the wait. The lunch menu is also a treat. The Po-Boys and soups are excellent. If you don't try this place you'll be missing some great food. Their beer is ok, I simply like my favorites. Also, the people there are very cool (polite, nice..). Check it out!

Nice place to be on Sunday at least before it gets crowded.
The only night I visit the Titanic is on Sundays, because of its karaoke night. BoogieMan George does a outstanding show with his professionalism, charisma, wit and humor. I wish I could say the same thing about his sometime substitute Angi but she seems trashy and humorless and her sound as a DJ, is like scraping a blackboard with long fingernails, making you wish George was always performing.. I fully understand because its a brewery that the Titanic makes its own beer and does not sell name brands like Budweiser, Miller and Corona but I think they should start. The beer that they process is okay, if your idea of beer is sipping on urine. The food is average, and I wish they would make this place NO SMOKING, I don't think it would offend anyone if smokers could go outside to light up. Also I would advise anyone on a Sunday to get there early at least before nine to avoid the rowdy hooligans of the University of Miami students.

GREAT PLACE FOR SURE.
Well, here's my two cents worth. I visited Miami about two years ago and made it to the Titanic Pub. At the time I had read the other reviews and wanted to see for myself. Frankly, I was quite impressed, especially for a Florida brewpub (is that an oxymoron?). The beers were superb, nice looking place too. Lots of dark woods and copper. Even the bench-type seats were real leather! The food was very good, and the server was efficient, knowledgeable and easy-on-the-eyes. Overall, I really liked the place. If I were to ever own a pub, I would want it to be like this place. I re-visited the place last month during another Miami trip. The food was still very good and the menu had been expanded quite a bit. I would honestly say that the mussels were the best I've had anywhere. They now have a full bar (meaning liquor) and have added large screen TVs all over. The bathrooms were clean and the overall place seems to be "kept-up" nicely. The staff is extremely nice, the beers rock, the foods good and so is the service. BOTTOM LINE - Even with all the crazy mixed reviews, there's a reason that this place continues to thrive! They do it right and I commend them for it. I would say this is a "don't miss" if your in the Miami area.

Strong brews, budget menu and live music make this collegiate-friendly bar a local favorite..
In Short
Although it's located right next to the University of Miami campus, you won't find frat boys funneling beers at the next table. Instead it's a low-key hangout for students, young professionals and UM staffers. The Cajun/Mediterranean/American menu offers such out there fare as the oyster po-boy served with bean sprouts and red peppers. Other items include the huge and lean burger and maple-grilled salmon. Desserts include chocolate pecan pie.

fun atmosphere; horrible service.
Okay here's the deal, the service here SUCKS, but it's a fun place to drink and listen to live bands. It's always impossible to get a drink, so may I suggest ordering doubles...or, I have had better luck on the restaurant side, but the atmosphere is not as lively. They do have good food; and really good meatloaf. The mussels are good too. They use to have good calamari but last time I went they tasted like fried rubberbands. Bottom line: food is pretty good, atmosphere is "fun", and the service is horrible.

Not all it's cracked up to be.
Food was decent, beers were pathetic for a microbrewery, and there was nothing special about this place.
