Good place for drinks, eats are iffy. I went here for a business dinner with a large group, my first time here. Everyone raved about how great the steak was here. Being a very picky steak eater, I was excited to get a "good steak." The drinks are great! The waiter brought by the cut of meats and everyone choose what they wanted. Now, I got the NY strip and cooked medium-rare, and I told him I mean medium-rare. Mine was the last to arrive, and i cut into it , the middle, and the entire thing was pink. Not dark pink, but light pink. This was medium by any standards. Anyways, before I even eat it I call the waiter to tell him that it was over cooked and he continously argued that the steak cooks itself when off of the grill so that it was medium-rare and cooked itself on my plate to medium. I was pretty pissed because he didn't offer or attempt to get me what I asked for, when others in my group had a true medium rare. Regardless, I at every other place I get a true "medium-rare" rather than some cop-out story to avoid re-cooking another steak for a customer. So, I ate the steak that I was very unhappy with and paid a pretty steap price for it too. I sucked it up to not make a scene, but really make sure you get what you pay for here!!!!

Minneapolis icon feeds carnivores craving a retro chophouse.. Like the original Manny's in Minnesota, this chophouse doesn't make excuses. The decor is a beefy mix of wood and leather. The retro meat presentation let's diners know that the star attractions are steaks, like a double porterhouse big enough to feed a boardroom. Yes, the portions are huge, offsetting some of the sting of the prices like $76 for a Bone-in Rib Eye. Its testosterone vibe may make it more fitting for a corporate meal than an anniversary dinner, but you may as well bring that special someone to help you make a dent in the signature brownie dessert.
