In a hotel makeover that has been praised for its throwback charm, one of the highlights is the surprisingly modern Italian eatery inside. You won't find hokey red-and-white checkerboard tablecloths here, but instead a classy dining room garnished with marble, brass and leather. Okay, maybe the antique chandeliers and wooden columns would please the Rat Pack regulars during the hotel's heyday, but time travel always has its hiccups.
