its a nightclub ppl. go away if ur wack..
my opinion, as a person that goes out on miami beach not frequently... but enough. live here on the beach. is a chick.
yo. its a club. they do you expect to be treated like a vip if u look like crap... or are a swarm of guys... or have a stanky attitude with the front door???
(thats a question to ask yourself)
if any club let whoever the hell walked up to the line in immedeatly... its a party without the hype, the exclusivity, the talk, good looking girls, you get the picture.
the music is good, the crowd is interesting, the celebs go there, if u are trying to have a good time... then you'll have it.
if ur the kind of person that CAN'T go with the flow, is impatient, cheap as f**k ,has high service expectations, or are brutally ugly... or any of the above combined... THEN DONT GO!!! YOU ARE NOT WANTED THERE ANYWAY.
do you have to "know some1 to get the hook up?" the answer is no. but it helps... just like ANYWHERE!! if u know the waitress @ denny's thats extra pancakes!
the front door can be a wait, it all depends on the time u get there idiot. if ur confused as to why the club reached capacity... because smart ppl get there early. Dress well, dont hastle the door guy and arent surprised when one drink is $14 bucks.
to the guy that got robbed, damn, that sucks, sorry it happened. karma will get him since the police wont.…
Lines Lines Lines...then disappointment..
Tight Velvet Rope. Crowd that gained entry was 35-65 yrs old.
Many people were slippin the "door man" an "additional entry fee" to be able to enter which is pretty much standard faire here I'm told.
Chatted with a few people in line that had tried to get in the night before (they actually were staying at the hotel) and were back to attempt again.
After about an hour I took my money elsewhere.…
IMPOSSIBLE TO GET IN UNLESS YOU HAVE A THOUSAND TO DROP. Unless you have paid off the outside door guy approx $40 per person not including entry fee to the club OR bought a table/bottle for $300 or more you are NOT getting in this club.
Here's what to do about Liv. Folks, the experiences at Liv are nearly universal, why don't you simply TWEET and BLOG about this club? As a long time Miami ( and South beach resident and business owner ) I can tell you that the average half life of a club is less than 9mths. LIV will likely be outdated before the end of 2009, but in the meantime, if you wish to cause the management serious pain...simply tell your friends...use Yelp, use Twitter, use your Blogs....make it known. Frankly, the Hotel doesn't need the club..and once the Hotel Management Chain gets wind of your experiences..LIV will be gone faster than you can blink an eye. Keep this in mind, I've seen the Beach fall, rise, fall, rise.....only the professionals endure. Liv is not professional and it will most certainly NOT endure regardless...give it a little push and down it will come.…
