Bland But Fresh. Very good location, but very mediocre pizza. Ingredients are fresh, but totally devoid of flavor. Too bad. Better bets are Lorenzo's Market with a brick oven or Anthony's, or even Steve's pizza. All have flavor which is missing from Pizza Fusion. At least it is healthier than most other pizza places! Service is also very slow, but friendly.
Best, healthiest pizza anywhere!.
This is the best run pizza restaurant I've been to. Owner Vince Adams treats you like gold. You're treated like a valued customer and personal friend of his and he always goes the extra mile to make your experience and meal memorable and enjoyable!
Their pizza is FAR healthier than anywhere else and is actually better tasting! Try a glass of organic sulfite-free wine or a craft beer or soda with dinner.
Healthy, always fresh ingredients and truly delicious!
By far, Best Pizza in Miami!!!.
I'm a pizza junkie. I've tried pizza pretty much everywhere and no other place's pizza is as good as Pizza Fusion's.
The crust, the amount of sauce, the selection of cheeses and other toppings....heavenly!!
I love it because it's not only the best pizza (at least in my humble opinion) but it's probably one of the healthiest, too! They also take pride in being "Green" and proving that the hospitality industry can have a positive impact on global issues.
My family and I go there often (too often actually) and have come to know many of the servers personally, as well as the managers and even some of the owners (we were told there were four of them).
We'd always ask for Issa and she always treated us like family. Sadly she's no longer working there anymore but Sam, Francisca, and Eddy are also great and take good care of us. We also stop by the kitchen window and say hello to the cooks who always greet us with a smile even while hard at work. If Michelle or Jeff are in the kitchen, expect your pizzas to be not only delicious but beautiful as well.
Their prices are adequate especially since 75-80% of the menu is organic. I've heard people commenting that it's expensive for pizza. For those people, I have something to say: You cannot expect high quality ingredients and expect to pay the same price as Domino's.
The ambience and music are great. There's outside seating as well as inside (including a long booth). Their organic beer and wine menu is great and has options for EVERY budget. We always ask for a "Monk" and a glass of the Heller Cabernet.
The food...ah the food! From the stuffed portobello cap, the freshness of the salads, their focaccia sandwiches, and best of all their pizza!! (My mouth is watering as I write this, I just might have to call for a delivery!)
All in all, it's a great place to bring family and friends, eat delicious food, and most importantly: not break the bank!
Only one suggestion, they should have a couple of shakers with Oregano (it is a pizza place, after all). Other than that, give Pizza Fusion a try, odds are, you won't be disappointed.
Best Pizza in Miami! You've got to try this place. Awesome find..
I usually don't have the time to create accounts and become a member on these websites, but I toughed it out to get to this box in order for me to write a review about this restaurant. Words don't make it justice. Just go there and find out for yourself. You will not be disappointed at all.
Prompt service, cool atmosphere.
Loved the "Monk in the Trunk" organic beer.
Appetizer was terrific (Trio dip with flatbread)
Got the Pear and Gorgonzola salad, loved it so much, we ordered 2 other half salads which were even better (Caesar salad and the Beets / Feta salad).
Pizzas: Gosh, we ordered 4 of the personals, 2 on multigrain and 2 on the organic white. All were terrific.
We were stuffed and happy. We are definately going back!!
Very Disappointing Service-never tasted the food.
For a girls night out with my daughter she decided on Pizza Fusion having been there before with others. It was somewhat crowded when we got there but there were open tables. We sat and it took the server a while to come by and ask if anyone had been by for our drinks. He came back and took our drink order. After bringing our drinks at 7:00 we ordered our cheese pizza, a founders pizza and fusion veggie salad. After about 20 minutes the resturant continued to fill up. Our server NEVER came back to our table- not even to say that they were busy or refill our drinks. Others came in and were served. 40 minutes after we ordered I stood up and walked to the first server I could find and told her we were leaving. She asked what we had ordered and then said it had just come out but she didn't know whose it was. I told her I had watched tables that had come in 20 minutes after us be served and that we were not staying.
I hope that they do get their act together. We ended up at Mario the Baker...30 years of experience and they got it right.
Unhappy But Hopeful.
This was our 1st time eating here. We ordered a Chicken Caesar salad, cheese pizza with mushrooms and onions and my wife ordered a glass of Chardonnay. When the Chardonnay arrived, my wife and I looked at each other and started laughing because the glass was so large and the serving portion was so small. Since my wife has had a glass of Chardonnay in every restaurant known to man, we asked to speak to the Mgr. who replied that "we only serve 4 ounces" and the industry standard is 5 ounces (trust me - my wife knows). This represents a 20% lower than average serving portion without reducing the $8.00 price of the glass. Mgr. said that this was their policy and that was it. My wife took a sip of the Chardonnay and thought that it tasted terrible. In front of the manager and waitress, I took a sip of her wine and it tasted like stale water. I asked them "what is this"? The waitress replied that this is the Chardonnay that we offer - "I poured it myself". A moment later, the waitress had an epiphany and said "Oh Oh" and explained that they kept Chardonnay bottles on display filled with water and she accidentally poured my wife the water instead of wine. Needless to say, we were shocked and surprised and the waitress then said don't worry, we change the water in these display wine bottles every 2 weeks - that made us feel MUCH better! The Mgr. just stood their not knowing what to say. It seemed like he did not "get" what just had happenned.
The dresssing in the Chicken Caesar salad had too much lemon and overall it was less than fair.
After waiting 20 minutes for the pizza, they brought us a plain cheese and not the mushroom and onions that we had ordered. They took it back and we waited an additonal 25 minutes for the pizza. The pizza tasted great and that's why they need to work on all their other problems. When the check arrived, the manager waived the cost of the wine and gave us an add'l $4.00 discount (big deal). We remain unhappy but hopeful.
Great Pizza and beautiful space.
Pizza Fusion is a great spot for those of us who love good, healthy, affordable food, with a great atmosphere.
What I love about Pizza Fusion is the fact that they use natural and organic ingredients, they have a great selection of organic wines and organic beers.
The interior is minimalistic and the atmosphere is great. Staff is very friendly and knowleadgeable.
One of my favorites is the stuffed Portobello Mushroom appetizer, followed by the chicken BBQ pizza, Greek pizza and the Big Kahuna. You can order on either white or multigrain crust.
The best part about eating here is that you are not only eating healthy, you are contributing to a business that is environmentally friendly.
I will definitely eat there again and highly reccommend it to everyone who enjoys a good pizza!!
