Support local business !!. Recently I was on vacation in Miami. I went to Coconut Grove to eat dinner. First we had chosen to go to the Cheesecake factory. After 1 hour wait, and an astonishing bad response from the manager we decided to go elsewhere.(We were quoted a 20 minute wait for a start, waited 1 hour, then the manager tells me his staff was overloaded. I ask him why were there some empty booths where we could be accommodated and he says he could not make the staff serve in a different station other than their assigned one!! - WOW! )

To my better luck we ended up walking down the main street and found this incredible neighborhood gem of a restaurant. We were greeted courteously, seated promptly, served with much pride by the waiters. The food was incredibly good. Our waiter -Miguel- suggested a wonderful ceviche (The tuna with soy and ginger) to me, and the rest of my party was also very pleased with their plate choices. The price is probably comparable to The Cheesecake factory, but the food quality and presentation way better. Not to mention the atmosphere.

I was so happy we had a bad experience with the Cheesecake factory because it lead us to a unique place with soul !!

Lesson repeatedly learned: Your neighborhood restaurant will always give you better value for your buck and spirits than a chain restaurant. !!

Difficult to eat anywhere else!. Everything on the menu is fresh, innovative, delicious. The Jaguar experience is delightfully habit-forming.

Best in Miami. I live in Coconut Grove and this is my favorite restaurant in all of Miami. I definatly recomment it to everyone. The ceviche is excellent, try the oriental and the nuevo. As far as entrees the seared tuna is wonderful and so is the swordfish a lo macho. If you go for lunch you should try the tuna sandwhich. The prices of entrees and apps is the best for what you get that I have seen anywhere. They also make a great mohito, the wine is one of my favorite things about this place they have a great selection of South American wines and the price is barely more than what you would pay for wine in the store.

This is a great place to go if you are a local or coming in from out of town because it encompases everything that is great about Miami and leaves out all that I don't care for.

The service is excellent whether it is your first time or your 20th time. If you can try and sit outside the restaurant is located in the "heart of the Grove" the middle of Miami's Coconut Grove neighborhood for those of you from out of town, great shopping and nightlife in this wonderful neighborhood of mine.
