Modern Italian Dinning Experience. I was pleasantly surprised with this Italian restaurant! Very authentic Italian food with a avant-garde feel. It is a high-end Tate Modern restaurant or a restaurant you would find in a modern museum, but even better. Its a perfect lunch spot. I have not been to dinner but can imagine the same.

Be Prepared to Sit with Strangers. My colleague and I had reservations for a party of two for lunch at Fratelli Lyon. We were very pleased with the delicious food -- the pasta was perfectly prepared and the sauces different, homemade and delicious.

We were seated at a 4-top and my colleague and I each placed our handbag in the two empty chairs. We were very disappointed when the hostess made us move our bags in order to seat another couple at our table! This was unacceptable and ruined what had been a delightful lunch. The hostess seemed to think that placing a candlelabra (with no candles) between the two couples was a sufficient divide. It was very awkward and unpleasant. Upon leaving the restaurant, we noted that there were plenty of tables for two available behind the bar and were unhappy to have been denied a private dining experience.

I 'm a tough critic and boy this place passes the test. IA roaring vivacious atmosphere, fantastic space to visit with a group of friends. Waiter described in detail any dish or wine we inquired about. Appetizers average $13.00. I recommend the Zucca Fiore appetizer, 3 large zucchini flowers stuffed with juicy cheese and sauce. Also the octopus and potato app. was prepared simple with olive oil but was best I ever had. Entrees are $18 to $30. I can not recommend a specific dish because this is one of those rare restaurants you find 3 times in a lifetime where every entree deserves an award. Cost $70 per person (incl. appetizer, entree, dessert, 2 drinks, tax and tip).

Don't bother with the 3.5 oz glass of wines, three sips and it is gone. Order full 6oz glass which is better deal. Try a fruity prosecco drink before your meal. For red wine, Barbera was my favorite.

If you crave variety in your Italian dining, you've come to right place. When you have three dozen choices before you even leave the antipasti offerings, you know your meal will be as authentic as it is custom-tailored. Entrees run the gamut from duck with grilled polenta to tuna-saddled penne to a pumpkin risotto. The Driade-imported décor is light and modern. Floor to ceiling window panes let the sun shine in by day and the romanticism ooze out by night.

Excellent lunch spot.. When i say everything in this place is homemade i mean it! Everything from homemade soda's to the best iced tea i believe i have ever tasted. Pasta's and gelato's are too die for and are all made there aswell. What more could one ask for. Oh yeah, a GREAT crowd including some of the most beautiful people one will ever lay eyes on. Want a lunch that will leave u feeling healthy and happy, come here!
