This place has gone downhill. I remember being happy when I saw that this group got their own theater a couple of years ago, but things have gone downhill. There's no alcohol for sale, the place is filthy, and the people that used to perform with the group are mostly all gone. Their pictures are on the wall, but the show seems to have only one of the experienced people, with a bunch of "special guests". The show seems to be all about this one person's ego. What a shame considering what this group used to be. I definately recommend against going to this place again.

Great Intimate Social Entertainment. I was skeptical at first as I arrived there early there seemed to be a low turn out. Well once it got started it was most definately full of funny vulgar comedy (audience participation required). They select people from the audience an turn it into a game show to find who makes you the "horniest". Contestants also must pop audience members "cherries" (lol this goes for females and males!!!)... I had a GREAT TIME!!! it is a great opportunity to meet other people as well as get to know the person you came with. You will feel comfortable you don't have to participate but trust me you will want to. Be sure to come with an open mind and don't expect large crowds to hide behind this is what makes it that much more fun.

P.S. It's Cheap to and we all need that.

You don't need to fly out to New York City or Chicago to catch improvisational comedy. Just the Funny presents local comedians performing sketch and audience-influenced humor at its intimate 125-seat theater. There are two shows on Friday and Saturday nights. The 9pm show offers a little bit of everything while the 11pm performances specialize in freeform Chicago-style imrov.
