Wonderful Stylist. Shannon is fabulous! I am new to the Miami area and was nervous about finding a new stylist. I have been highlighting my hair for years now. I came to Shannon with faded, dry, and damaged hair. And he transformed by hair into shiny, rich blonde highlights...even preparing a specialized conditioning treatment for my hair. He is very warm, approachable, and listened to all my ideas and concerns. Another plus = The salon has a comfortable ambience--- not like some of these disco-like salons. You actually can relax. I like that.

Natural haircolor in town!!!!. I visited Shannon today, after reading his reviews and i am very very happy with my new haircolor. He blended my highlights, so their not stripy anymore. My hair is more healthy and shiny then ever. Thank you Shannon, see you soon.

Best colorist in South Florida. I have been highlighting my hair for most of my life and have been to many colorists. Shannon is not a colorist...he is a color artist! I showed him a photo of the highlights I wanted done to my hair and after one look at it, he made magic! The reults were better than the photo I showed him. My hair looked shiny, natural and the color was sun-kissed rather than streaked! If you want natural highlights or color of any kind done to your hair by a sensitive artist in a relaxing atmosphere, Shannon Matheny is the ONLY colorist for you. I will follow him anywhere!

Goosebumps. Shannon was brilliant and is one of the most gifted stylist I have ever known. Ladies and gentleman book him before it becomes to difficult to get an appointment with this master of color. He made my poor excuse for hair into a glamorous thing of beauty. The subtle highlights and terrific cut were beyond my wildest imagination. He is truly gifted and will no doubt rule this town. I haven't had goosebumps regard my hair since 1978. Bravo, Shannon, bravo.

Just the Best.... Shannon is like a plastic surgeon in color , what he does in your hair it's so well, the aesthetic alterations go unnoticed. I wanted a natural, sun-kissed look and that 's what i got... so Natural !!!....Shannon furnishes clients with a carefully cultivated patrician look?think soft, childlike streaks, not brash strips that works like magic on darker manes . Shannon favorite tricks prove his subtle mastery: weaving auburn shades into full-on brunette locks and bringing out the chestnut in a formerly mousy brown. Whatever the color (and he is skilled with all), this man isn?t concerned with making his particular mark on you?another example of professionalism

Natural Color. Shannon did a fantastic job on my hair! I had always highlighted my naturally strawberry blonde hair, but I wanted to go the other way - red; I was very apprehensive about the change, but Shannon calmed all my fears about looking like "Carrot Top". I received so many compliments on my natural looking dark red hair; mostly how the new color brought out the blue in my eyes. I would definetly recommend Shannon for natural looking hair color.

Amazing Highlights. I just moved to Miami from New York and wanted to find a new colorist so I decided to try Shannon. I am more than amazed with my highlights. After my appointment I went shopping and have already received compliments. I can't wait for my husband to see it! I loved the relaxing enviorment and definately be back. I am happy to have found my new colorist.Thanks a million!!

An amazing talent. There is nothing like walking out of the salon after seeing Shannon, he is a master when it comes to highlight's, and the time spent with him is really relaxing. My hair always looks healthy and I never go a day without someone complementing me on my color. Shannon really listens to what you want and what's truly amazing is that he's so sweet and humble, most stylist's with that much talent are not much fun to be around.

With his cult like following in Miami and Atlanta, make sure to book your color in advance, and be prepared to share him with your friends.

Creates a completely natural look with a highly artistic blending of colors to match the individual!. Shannon is fun to go to for fabulous color play! He creates the thoroughly great natural look that I seek for my highly sun-exposed hair, shifting tones and shine to complement my skin tone.
