Great Color!. I am happy to let you know that you can trust and feel comfortable with the work that Shannon does. He gave me a beautiful soft golden tone of highlights without any orange. Service is great, price and hair dry too! I am definitely returning. Thank you!

amazing. I just moved into town, and started looking for the best colorist in Miami. Citysearch recommended couple of folks here. being one of them Shannon Matheny. I went with him cus he had some great reviews. I'm from LA so i know i have to drive everywhere in Miami.( he is in coconut grove) I can not begin to tell you how great my hair turned out, the color, the cut, he even makes his special formula for my type of hair. Everything is A la Carte, which makes even better.

i just had to write a review for him. He is just amazing and i cant believe i found him on citysearch

WOW!! Shannon's the best!. Shannon was able to fit me in on a Sunday! That's just unheard of and I didn't have to beg either. I was desperate. I was well overdue for a cut and color. He worked magic. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation. The compliments on my hair haven't stopped.

Best hilight in Miami!!!!. I met Shannon last week, I noticed that he was listed in the top ten colorists in the Miami area, so I decided to go to him. I am so happy that I did, my hair has never looked better!!!! I HIGHLY recommend him.

Best colororist - simply brilliant!!. Shannon took one look at my hair and identified the problem: overprocessed, one dimensional, frizzy highlights. After a discussion and assesment of my wants and needs, he began to wrap tiny sections of hair into each foil and I emerged from his salon with perfect golden highlights. With subtle tendrils filled with shine and luster, I simply can not stop staring at my reflection. His secret seems to be an excellent eye for detail and the perfect placement of light and dark color to enrich the results - providing authentic-looking color and depth to my hair.

goldilocks. if i had wanted orange hair i could have done this one at home. i spent 2 hrs in this place and hated my hair when it was finished but this guy doesn't listen so he looked at me blankly when i asked for more highlights around my face i was told i'd have to rebook, just look at the woman in his commercial her hair is orange too.

a rip off and the worst blodry too. never again

Shannon is an artist who makes me glow!. Today's color play by Shannon transformed my greying blond hair into shiny natural hues of strawberry and golden blond. Besides being an artist, he's kind and a sweetheart. I've been going to him for several years in between my long trips, and feel delighted each time. Glowing!

Exceptional talent not easily found. The best testimony that I can give Shannon is to tell you that he has been highlighting my hair for over 10 years. During this time, I have lived in different parts of the world and traveled by plane so that Shannon could color my hair. I quickly discovered that Shannon has an unsurpassed talent for transforming ordinary looking hair into extraordinary brilliant hair. He intricately blends shades of ash and golden blonde into my brown hair resulting in a stunning array of natural looking colors. I have tried other colorists and I am always disappointed with the results. Shannon happens to be one of the nicest people that I have ever known!

Artistry & ambience. Step into the salon, relax in the peaceful atmosphere, sip a freshly-brewed coffee and allow Shannon to transform you. I travel from NYC for Shannon to color my hair. If I go to anyone else, I wind up sorely disappointed. Shannon also does my mother's hair, and he always does her color beautifully in a way that is perfectly suited to her. The environment at this tiny salon is also unsurpassed. Enjoy!

I fly all of the way from LA for Shannon. Shannon has been coloring my hair for years. When I moved back to LA I wouldn't let anyone else touch it. The color that Shannon does is so realistic and simply beautiful. What makes it even better is that he is so personable, kind and funny. What else could you ask for? I love him!
