Editorial Review for Circa 28 – by Rick Munarriz
In Short
You can throw the book at Circa 28, but only once you get past its bookshelves stocked with eclectic conversational piece reads. It's more barflies than bookworms, though, once you venture deeper into the dual-level club in the heart of the nightlife-happy Wynwood art district. A classic mahogany bar on the ground floor courts drink-cradling hipsters under dangling chandeliers, while happy feet get their groove on beneath a shimmering disco ball upstairs.

You would never imagine how good looking this place is from the outside. Once inside you're drawn in to the very comfortable, chic decor. It makes you feel like you're at home. In fact, I wouldn't mind having that gorgeous bookshelf or lighting fixtures at my own home. Service is always great. All the staff members are friendly and make you feel like you're part of something special. My girlfriend just had her birthday party there & she said it was the best she'd ever had. As for smoking, it's allowed inside. However, they've installed a smoke and odor removal system, so it's not even an issue. They're always making changes/upgrades too. I noticed they're upgrading their air conditioning system upstairs. What else? They host cutting-edge yet quality rotating art exhibits and live performances regularly....In short, this place is a hidden gem, very different from any nightspot in Miami. It's more like a New York or London lounge with great class, charm and great music. A must for anyone looking for good times without all the Miami attitude.
Pros: ambience, service, music
Cons: up-and-coming neighborhood, raw or gritty looking exterior

Circa 28 is not the best of Miami, I've had the worst experience there and many of my friends are even scared of visiting the place, I saw animals around the floor on my visit to the place. Customer service is the worst. Don't dare parking around Circa or you may get your car jacked. Do not recommend anyone this place.
Cons: Everything is a con with this place.
