FABULOUS NIGHT AT BLUE MARTINI. I have been promoting this place for 2 years on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I'am in love that bar, the stage, the dj booth is set up...the Door Staff, Bar Tenders & the Managing Team are very professional. Bottle service is greatly recommended when you come with a big group since this will be a way to save money and acquire a "Fabulous Experience" to remember.

Always contact a host or promoter to find out the drink & bottle specials that are not offered at the door. This way when you arrive at Blue Martini, your night runs smoothly.

They always hire "Top Local Celebrities DJs." There has not been a night that i have not liked the music.

Fabulous Venue For Bdays, Bachelorette, Bachelorette, Office After Parties..etc..

The parking situation is very smooth..you will find parking on the meters in around Mary Brickell Village Shopping center plus they also have a parking garage

1.Groups of guys ---bottle service is highly recommended

2.Groups of girls ---Entrance will be smoother

3.Groups of Guys and girls --- Entrance is Smooth

FOR GROUPS 1 2 & 3 IS RECOMMENDED TO CONTACT A EVENT HOST OR PROMOTER AHEAD OF TIME TO WAIVE THE COVER CHARGE OR GET BETTER BOTTLE PRICES (AND GUARANTEE A TABLE)

Low Life Place. I used to go to the Blue Martini because even though it is cheezy I could find a good time in any place with music...and it is right next to where I live. About a month ago i was escorting a bachelorette party of 7 girls and standing behind them the bouncer was aggressive with me about paying a cover so i calmly called the girls out. the bouncer got upset i was "taking customers out" and pushed me and told me to get the F out of there. one of the girls got in his fact and he pushed her with his hands on her face to the ground. i saw this and pushed him looking to get the girl away from this....four bouncers jumped me and choked me unconcious, broke my nose, and hit me repeatedly while i was face down unable to breath....the cops showed up and seemed to know the low life owner who was cursing at me in front of them...also, they washed the serveillance tapes.....meanwhile i went to the hospital with a fractured orbital and broken nose......

i dont think i am going back....

apparently the valet guys say this is not an uncommon happenning at this place. i never thought to write on here until i saw the last review.

Never again New Years Party. I was very excited and looking forward to attend there New year's bash, but was greeted with one of the worst party ever. To begin with we spent $300.00 on a table reservation which included a bottle of vodka(swear it must of been filled with water) we gave it away it was so bad. They put three carafe of watered down juice,we had to return the orange juice since it was so watered down. Please did someone see the hors d'ouvres(neither did I). Then came the music ,how horrible was that(mind you I've been to this location before and a I believe it could of been a lot better. And finally, they crowed the place so much that you couldn,t even dance next to your table which by the way I ended that night with a heel stuck on top of my foot. By 1:00 we were out there with much disappointment....All I know is that they will never see me there again..shame on me...shame on them...

Brickell and Kendall locations. I have been to 2 of the Blue Martini locations in South Florida: Brickell, and it's newest location, Kendall in Town and Country Mall (I believe it is now called The Palms Town and Country after having been torn down and rebuilt). Neither Blue Martini location impressed me very much.

At the Brickell location, I ordered a drink and was charged a specific amount. A few minutes later, I went back to order another and was charged more, and the drink on the receipt had a different description than the first, even though it was the same exact drink. I pointed this out to the bar tender, and he gave me a hard time about it, saying he had already charged my credit card and couldn't credit it. I then asked to speak with a manager, and he fixed it.

My husband, some friends and I went to the Kendall location on opening night. After waiting in line about 20 minutes, a bouncer came over and told my friend he couldn't come in because he was wearing sneakers. My friend pulled up the leg of his pants to show the bouncer his shoes, because they weren't sneakers, they were dress shoes with a white sole. The bouncer then said he couldn't come in with white-soled shoes. My friend went home to change his shoes and came back. We all made it inside, then noticed a few guys who had been let in wearing sneakers.

This place is very expensive. My husband and I ordered 2 drinks and 2 bottles of water, and the tab came to $40, before tip.

A couple weeks later, we went back to the Kendall location a second time to meet with friends for a going-away get-together. Prior to ordering anything, our waitress had the audacity to tell us, "I DO work for tips by the way." Later, my friends tipped her 15% and the waitress came back and told them they had to tip 18%. I know some places do the automatic 18% for parties of 6 or more, but it was just him and his girlfriend. Plus, there was nothing on the credit card slip stating a mandatory 18% gratuity, so I'm pretty sure the waitress made this up in an attempt to make more money. My friends changed their tip to 18% to avoid getting into an argument with the waitress and closed their tab. A little later, they decided to order one more drink. This time, they tipped her exactly 18%, and when she picked up the credit card slip and saw how much they had tipped her, she rolled her eyes and said, "These tips are not enough" and walked away. I'm sure not all the wait-staff is like this, but this was our experience.

The band here is ok, but it seems like they spend more time talking to the crowd than playing music.

It's also very expensive...my husband and I ordered 2 drinks and 2 bottles of water, and the tab came to $40, and that was before tip.

If you use the bathroom, be prepared to be rushed by the woman who works in there. She shouts at the women in the stalls, saying, "I want to hear flushing ladies!" I guess she thinks it's funny, but I noticed a lot of women were bothered by this. She also pointed out that she works for tips.

Anyway, to sum it up, I've visited Blue Martini 3 times and had 3 poor experiences. This bar, in my opinion, is very pretentious and snobby. I understand the dress code, but it's ridiculous when you show up wearing dress shoes and they tell you you can't go in because they have white soles. They really need to reassess how picky they can be with such a strict dress code, when they're attached to a strip mall, in walking distance to a grocery store and gym. Add that to the poor service we got from the waitress, mediocre band, and crazy expensive prices and you end up with a bad experience over all. At least we did.

Upscale martini bar draws pros and party people alike to the eatery-rich Mary Brickell Village.. In Short
Downtown Miami's transformation is complete. Late-working business professionals mingle with the early clubbers in one of three swanky rooms, as DJs and live bands jam through a wide assortment of jazz, funk pop, and electronica. The stage room is the heart of the people action, but catching a break in the quieter patio bar is equally daring when the weather is nice.
