who do they think they are?. So we tried to go to the Apple store on Saturday night. For awhile my husband has been thinking about buying an iphone and his current cellphone contract just expired so now is the time for him to make a move. He probably wasn't going to buy one THAT night, but he is very interested and just wanted to look at the product in more detail. We go over to the apple store and we notice there is a red velvet rope and this person blocks our entrance into the store, which btw, wasn’t that crowded- I have seen it much busier. And this girl goes “its going to be a 15 minute wait. What brings you to the Apple store today?” My husband says “I was thinking about buying an iphone.” The apple store employee goes “Are you just thinking about buying an iphone or are you really planning on buying an iphone?" What???!!! That is SO rude. We walked away- we don't go shopping for big money items only to be completely annoyed by the people working there. It looks like he'll be upgrading his blackberry and sticking with the current service. we have no desire to do business with people like that.
