In Short
Inside the two-story posh Italian eatery, locals are transported to the 1940s Hollywood as lipstick-red Venetian chandeliers, oversized booths and green walls make up the interior. Owned by South Florida restaurateur David Manero and partners Devito and Michael Brauser, the restaurant features fresh ingredients, bold flavors and contrasting flavors. VIPs get the pleasure of sitting at the theater style bar to watch chef Francis Casciato in action as he prepares signature dishes. For those looking for an intimate setting, head upstairs to the "cascina" that boasts three built-in fireplaces, 19 plasmas and features a cantina wine room.
Try popular signature dishes including Salmone Al Tartufo: wild salmon with truffled honey mustard, fennel and pomegranite for $34 or the Linguine Ai Fruitti De Mare: Half-lobster, shrimp, clams, mussels, squid, tomatos and focaccia crostini for $44. Locals can also dine outdoors and request a private cabana. Stop by the 40s-style restaurant that combines a classic contemporary twist on traditional Italian decor.

We went to this restaurant for a birthday. We knew it would be pricey and that was fine. We were seated immediately. Our waiter was rude. We asked for about 2-3 minutes to decide what we wanted to eat. He left and did not return for about 25 minutes. Then, when the food did arrive, the chicken was pink. The manager asked how was everything and we told him about the chicken. He took the chicken to the kitchen and had a server bring back the chicken that our guest had already began eating! Then, we asked for dessert menus--that took another 20 minutes. When dessert arrived they didn't bring any spoons, and when we asked for spoons they acted as if we were annoying them. In my opinion, for the low quality of service, and food you are better off going to Pilar, P F Changs, or an American chain. I think that for over $400 we expected good service and great food! Don't do it!!!
Cons: Parking, Music was loud, Food, Service

I have been a fan of David Manero restaurants for many years now..each one seems to out do the next..Teaming up with Danny Devito in South beach is quite the event for top dining spot in Miami.... My Prime New York Strip was to die for as was my girlfreind's authentic Pope's pasta (yes the only one served at the vatican to numero uno as the menu states)...Service is perfection and the restaurant design is almighty... Manero's Vic & Angelos restaurants are also my favorites...Can't wait for the new Delray Beach one to open on Atlantic Avenue.. I can taste the coal oven pizza now.. We will be back to Devito over and over..YUMMY!
Pros: great oudoor dining and people watching/ Top Food and Service
Cons: hope it doesn't rain much this summer
