best italian food in miami!. best italian food ever!!! real homemade italian food, fresh ingredients, nice atmosphere, highly recommended for everyone!!!

They should shut down this place..... I am writing this review trying to help the community to be safe....

.....I went there with a group of friends few weeks ago....

first of all the food was horrible and one of my friends ordered a seafood dish and ended up in the emergency room for food poisoning....I felt so bad with my friend because I was the one who suggested the restaurant.....

then the service is the worst I ever experienced....the owner behavior is certifiable and finally the quality of food is not worted the overpriced bill that we received at the end....if you can, stay away from this place....

A Diamond in the Rough. This family run miracle has been in existence for 2 or 3 years, and yet it remains a bit of a secret in North Miami/Aventura, primarily due to its' humble location. But it you want high-end Italian (read: home cooked) food, go directly there - tonight...... This is NOT reheated Olive Garden mush. For pasta, the Lasagna is magnificent, and several variations of homemade ravioli are on the menu almost every night. Seafood and meats are always prepared expertly. The appetizers are unique and well presented - I had the eggplant on a parmesan crisp - incredible. I usually frequent Circo or Trattoria Del Arte in New York, and the little Portovino is every bit as good, if not BETTER on certain nights. It is also half the price, with a reasonable selection of Italian table wines.
