AVOID IT/one-too-many. They charged us cover and we weren't going into the club. Some girl pointed this out to me once we were already inside.They charged me same drink with different price and had me waiting forever to get another one that was all watered down!!One- too -many clubs in Miami of this kind.
Slow Service/GREAT music/UNETHICAL MANAGER. I came to Miami on a business trip for only a weekend and since it wasn't my first time here I didn't want to go to South Beach.So my friend who lives here took me out for a small taste of where the locals go on Friday nights.She continued to brag about this Martini Bar place ,how she comes 2-3 times a week because it's conveniently near where she lives and they play good music.We arrived earlier than most Miami locals,sat outside,and were comfortably having our drinks and cheking out the locals at this mall.I did notice the service outside was kindda slow and our server wasn't too concerned with getting us more drinks.In fact I got up myself and went to the bar for more drinks several times.So I sympathize with the large party,described in earlier reviews.The difference for me,was that instead of making a scene I just paid my bill and told my friend I was too tired to continue the party in this place so my friend wouldn't feel bad.As we were getting ready to go,we saw the unhappy customers screaming and a manager cussing right back at them.The attitude of the manager was what turned me off.I couldn't believe my eyes and my ears.This manager was screaming and cussing at the customers. In the professional world a manager NEVER screams at customers for not wanting to pay,much less call upon a cop claiming the cop wil make them pay. Eveyone knows this would go to small claims and you can't get arrested for not paying a restaurant bill.The customers looked decent .MIAMIROX mentioned that one of them even left the tip to the server.Miamirox seems to be part of the staff ( to know such clear details) and forgets there were 2 other tables around this mess and I was in one of them. I saw the cop all confused because he couldn't do anything to them.There will always be unsatisfied customers but the manager's responsibility is to resolve matters in a civilized way regardless of the situation.This typical situation was too much for him to handle.
Rare Professionalism. I am a patron of Martini Bar 2 to 3 times a week not only because it is a GREAT place to enjoy a night out with my boys but because of the staff and management!! I have been to every club in S Beach and pretty much Miami and it's very RARE that you have a manager say Hello Welcome to our club, Thanks for coming, Have a Nice weekend, let alone staff say it. I started going there about 4 months ago on a blind date, when the sever found out that in was on a blind date i guess she told the manager on duty and sure enough he came by with a round of shots to toast us good luck. we laughed so hard and ended up staying there till closing. You can go any where to party or drink but it's those little things that make you always go back!!!!!
HOrrible service my BUTT!!! I was sitting next to your table, YOUR STUPID Martinibar rocks!. Whomever wrote this is a nasty waste of time of a person. I was sitting next to your table and you people are just nasty. The manager came by and you attacked him with profanities from the get go. How do you expect a manager to help you when you are saying F$%^ this and F@^% that. I felt bad for the manager and if I was in charge, I would have had your butt arrested. I glad the cop came by and put you in your place. I spoke to staff members afterwards and not only did you threaten to not pay the entire bill, (which was probably your game plan from the get go), but you were cheap losers who did not want to tip. That server was quite busy and to be so rude as to make her cry says volumes about you. Not only that, one of your members threatened to take the manager to the parking lot and do what? Get his butt kicked by the manager? I am a patron of Martinibar and have only received the best service. I also understand that when the place is packed and 100's of people are everywhere, things do take some time. I was told by a staff member that the reason the supposed cake took so long was because that server was looking for candle. A CANDLE!! Maybe you should back to whatever greasy spoon sorry restaurant you worked for and reacquaint yourself with the facets of the restaurant, nightclub arena. Or you can just call this number 1-866-IMALOSER and get etiquette classes. Martinibar never charges a cover for ladies, they give free champagne to ladies, always greet guests with a smile and unlike most nightclubs in the business, they thank each guest for coming out. By the way, one of your guests in your group tipped the server $30 (probably because he was embarassed but more likely because the server did her job). MARTINIBAR ROCKS AND IT IS A GREAT PLACE TO GO, DANCE, EAT, HAVE GREAT MARTINI'S AND UNFORTUNATELY SOMETIMES BE SURROUNDED BY MORONS. Try getting your message out without using profanity and threatening people. You will go further in life. LOSER.
Horrible service!!! managements rude!!!!!!! NOt a good place..... Our experienced with Martini Bar will be the last one!!!! It was horrible... after eating with family (7 people) without complaining about anything and having to wait for the bad waitress service who was talking all night with same guy and not paying attention to our table... we finally got our check to pay, Our bill came up to be $256 which include a cake that we ordered but we never got and $41 tip that the waitress did not deserved. We are a family that had a restaurant once and worked as waitress and waiters for years, we always always tip over the 20%. On Saturday night when asked to remove the cake (that we never got) the waitress started to get an attitude, saying that we needed to pay for it because she was getting the cake ready (for over 20 minutes of waiting) and after requesting to remove the tip even the manager got an attitude! All of the sudden the rude manager called the cops screaming that we did not want to pay the bill.... WHAT!????? We only did not want to pay for the cake and tip!!!!! The manager started to scream every word possible in the book to us!!! What kind of management this place has???? I have never seen something like it... the funny part is that the cops realized that the crazy one was the manager no us.... funny.... NOT RECOMENDED!!!! Bad service, bad business management orientation.... Usually managers tried to calm the customer.... same customers are not right at all but even thought they are not, customers always have the right or at least the manager has to make them feel like if they do. In this case we DID have the right... but the ignorant manager did not know how to handle the situation....

Don't let the outdoor café façade fool you. Sure, folks are wolfing down gooey quesadillas and hearty angus burgers, but they're washing it down with stiff drinks and fruity mojitos. True to its name, the martinis are there in abundance. There are more than a dozen martinis available, spiked with everything from blueberry vodka to Godiva chocolate syrup. The real party rests a few layers deep, in the enclosed bar where the stools go forever.
