Editorial Review for Te Casan – by Keith Wagstaff
In Short
This sprawling, three-floor shoe palace is the perfect picture of excess: Scent machines sweeten the air, an in-house maid (in classic maid's attire, of course) continuously tidies up, all while designer-clad women coo over limited-edition runs of shoes designed by a seven-person team pulled from top fashion houses like Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood. Each shoe (everything from knee-high boots to deliciously strappy heels to sleek trainers) is displayed near the designer's portrait, with its limited edition number discreetly imprinted on the sole.

This is shoe mecca...shoe heaven! The range of designs is amazing - from flats to funky heels (one or two I have to confess I think I might only be able to wear in the privacy and comfort of my own home!). The prices are pretty reasonable for designer shoes that are (in my humble opinion) more stylish than Manolo's et al. These would probably appeal to someone who has their own sense of style and isn't so bothered about labels...and the fact that all the shoes are limited edition is cool! Loved Gaetanno Perrone's designs (there are like eight different designers shoes on display) and Zoe's handpainted shoes were da bomb! Loved the funky boots too. I did some SERIOUS damage here!
Pros: great designs, limited edition shoes
Cons: not to many I can think of! Name is hard to pronounce?! te what?
