I have waist length long blond hair, and to find a stylist that loves long hair and gives a perfect hair cut- from styling it straight to beachy wash and go, is always my challenge. I moved here from LA, and searched out a high-end master stylist. This is my third time at this exquisite boutique salon, and as always, Gustavo is THE BEST! Do yourself the favor, and come here..... I teach and lecture in holistic medicine around the world, and so I need to look pretty, and photo ready with little styling time and on the go. That is why I keep coming back. Plus, he is fun!!!

No need to search anymore!!!. I found this salon on the internet. After reading all the excellent reviews on it I decided to give it a try. I was in desperate need of haircolor and a haircut. I called and spoke with Gustavo, the owner, and made an appointment with him. He was wonderful! Very pleasant and friendly. I was very pleased with the decor of the place and the cleanliness of it. Gustavo did a wonderful job on my hair. My color and highlites look great as well as the haircut! I will definetly be going back! Thanks Gustavo!! Jessy!

Worth driving 30 miles each way, and then some. It is a cliche, men or women who go on and on about how difficult it was to find a salon and stylist who understood their hair, and had the skills to give them great cuts/color/style.

And it is true. Every time I have moved I have gone through some version of hair stylist purgatory, sometimes worse, until I eventually found stylist heaven.

Gustavo Briand is heaven to me. So when I moved this time, from downtown MIA to the suburbs I decided it is worth driving 30 miles each way to get my hair cut. And I am not alone, on a recent day I run into a female customer who had endured 2+ hrs of peak season traffic to get to GB from Fort Lauderdale.

The salon's location is great. Easy access from all directions on South Beach. Parking is easy and the space around it is open and airy owing to the park and bay across the street. But what's better yet, the entire team is warm, professional and friendly, from owner Gustavo, stylists Christian, Patricia, to Dragana at the front desk.

I highly recommend Gustavo Briand Studio.

I finally found my salon!. I've been growing my hair out and donating it for years. I hadn't yet found a place that could deal with cutting my hair well when it is short, until now. Gustavo cut my hair and it has never looked so awesome. I asked for something that took little maintenance but still looked good and I got it. I just have blow my hair dry and it looks so similar as when I walked out of the salon (Shocking). Everyone was so sweet and I didn't have to wait at all for my appointment. I highly recommend Gustavo Briand Studio.

Best Highlights in Town. I can't write enough words of praise for the amazing job that Gustavo Briand did on my hair!!

My highlights never looked so natural and healthy.

He was not only professional, but was also such a warm, kind person. In this day and age, it is not often you get

such personal service!!

I will definitely be coming back to him every time.

To the ridiculous comment below..... Honestly I have been going to cristian for 3 years for color, cut, and blow-dry and not ONCE has anything you are claiming happen to me. I'm assuming your hair was already damaged and now your just looking to blame someone, which feels ridiculous. I wouldn't stand up for just anyone, but I will for him bc he is hands down the best at what he does. Maybe you should give him another chance, or just accept that your hair is damaged. For Patricia I have seen her do some of the most stunning cuts I have seen .... So not sure where u are coming from so get a life and stop putting some of the best in the business down

Not happy at all. I went to this salon based on the reviews alone. I should have known better after arriving and no clients were there just around new year. However, I had my color done with Christian and the cut with Patricia. I told Christian I wanted my highlights touched up and overall my hair to look brighter. He, I guess bleached not only the roots but also very much the entire lenght. The color looked good at first but my hair is very dameged. He left it on too long or shouldn't have done for the entire length. Now it looks very damaged and it is braking when I brush it. Horrible. I told Patricia I wanted long layers and not to loose my lenght. I ended up with no layers and she did cut the length too much.

Wonderful Haircut and Color Today!. Today I had my hair done by Patricia and Christian. Patricia did the cut and Christian did the color. I must say they both did an awesome job! It is really hard to find good people to do your hair but this salon has never failed me. Gustavo usually does my hair, but he is out of town...so I fell into the hands of these two and I do not regret it! They are also really nice, which is a bonus!
