Pretty good. The foods just that, pretty good. If youre in the mood for some sake and steak, this is your place. The sushi offered is pretty good as well. but i guess you can never go wrong with a california roll.

Needs a make over. The food was great and everyone was nice but the place looks and sounds like a Denny's restaurant. Not a Benihana style at all.

Fun. I always have a good time when I go here. I do not suggest sitting on the booth side (where they dont cook in front of you) It seems my food is always over done and the rice is sticky. I like my food hot, and whats better than directly off of the grill?! It can be a little difficult to get a spot at a table if you go at peak times... I also suggest going during lunch time, as the food is the same but cheaper!

Benihana in Coral Gables is a waste of money!. The Benihana restaurant in Coral Gables not only had terrible food, but had poor service as well. I found the whole Benihana's experience to be overpriced and terribly underrated. There are so many better restaurants in the Gables, don't waste your time and money on this one.

Knife-wielding chefs put on a show at this communal Japanese grill.. In Short
Benihana started out as a tiny four-table restaurant in New York City's theater district before becoming an international chain. Diners sit around large tables where chefs ostentatiously chop, slice, stir-fry and grill. Entre options are simple--shrimp, chicken, steak and scallops--and preparation is uniform. Every entree comes with a similar stock of sides: green tea, rice, onion soup, shrimp appetizer, iceberg lettuce drizzled with dressing and sauteed vegetables.
