Best Spa experience

When you pull up you think the place has not been touched since 1969, but it is very updated, while still holding a 1960s chic. A friend and I went in the morning for a spa treatment. Due to an earlier black out and flooding (all across Miami) we were the only people there for the first hour. This gave us time to really explore the spa. It is clean, inviting, and has a variety of steam rooms, baths, showers, etc., that you can use with just a day pass. Both of our massages were one of the best we ever had. And, we have collectively been to some of the best, including 3 Mandarine Orientals (Bangkok, Miami, and Washington DC) this rivals even that. My favorite was the mud bath. Not for the light hearted as it requires you to be without your clothes outdoors. I would fly back down to Miami just for this spa!

great spa

Great spa! Well located, easy parking (for South Beach, that is), friendly staff and great atmosphere. The Capoeira class is great! A must for the adventurous type.

overlooked the ocean

Stayed in the Wet room for 3 nights due to the deal I found at their website. The room was amazing, especially the outdoor terrace that overlooked the ocean. I've never felt so relaxed in my entire life.
