Worst service I have ever experienced!.
My girlfriend and I went to the Gourmet Carrot to have a healthy lunch. We ordered a sandwich and a veggie burger with fries as our sides that were supposed to come with the sandwiches. When our
lunch came, my girlfriend had a salad next to her sandwich and a separate bowl with fries. I was concerned the waitress misunderstood and we would be charged for an extra side of fries, so I asked her. She said my girlfriend's sandwich did not come with fries and so I said, okay well we don't need them. She then said, well, we ordered them so we had to pay for them.
Naturally, I was kind of shocked by this. I would not have ordered the fries that mysteriously came with one sandwich, but not another if had known. She said she would get the menu to prove it to me. I said it doesn't matter, please take the fries back, because we would not have ordered them if we knew it was an extra $5 charge.
Okay, so here's where it gets unbelievable. The waitress quickly takes all the dishes off the table and says we should leave and never, ever come back and that she would remember our faces. I walked inside and asked to speak to the manager. Our waitress said she was the owner and that we should leave immediately. I calmly asked for a reasonable explanation for why we were being kicked out, but she continued yelling at me. I have since learned that she was lying about being the owner, but the most amazing part is that I found out later that the owner of the restaurant owner was inside and could hear everything, but did nothing about it.
I would only suggest going to this joke of a restaurant if you like being insulted, yelled at and kicked out when your order arrives. Do yourself a favor and never go to this restaurant.…
