Fine dining segues to dancing at this upscale party spot.. The glory years of supper clubs have come and gone, but you can't blame the Art Deco Bancroft Hotel from living in the past in its refashioned banquet hall. Diners arrive early, drawn in by the foodie fare crafted by Timo's executive chef. Menu highlights include a goat cheese and pistachio-crusted lamb, squid ink pasta, and Kobe beef short ribs. Things get wilder as the night ages, with the electronica music getting louder as dancers in skimpy outfits strut down the runway. Tables get cleared away as quickly as inhibitions, as the marble bar takes over.
