Good service, even better price. I have read negative reviews on this restaurant but I can only speak about my personal experience. The place is cozy but not because of small square footage and the only bad thing is that the lights are sometimes too low during daytime hours(but they turn them up upon request). The service may not be the fastest but I am certain it's better than last year's staff.

The waitress that usually serves us is very nice and tries her best to make us comfortable serve us fast and feel welcome. About the food, it has always been good, never too salty and unless you like to taste just salt and condiments and not your food itself, it has been well seasoned, and the flat bread they serve as an appetizer is to die for. The bill has always left us feeling we got more than what we paid for. The new chef is worth checking out. We will return again and again.

Really Bad Service Horendous.Terrible tasteless salty food!!. Arrived on weekday evening hungry, it looks good from the outside..When I sat down the waiter took 30 minutes of ignoring me to give me water, then I had to ask someone else for bread 20 mintues later. The bread was ok. Then I waited another 40 minutes for the Veal Parm that I orderd with Ziti. The waiter was on crack or something he kept forgetting me completely. Then another waiter did the same thing when I asked for more Marinara sauce. The food was totally super salty, completely tastless and utter horrible. I would never go back. The place totally SUCKS! STAY FAR AWAY seriously. I am a real consumer. The place stinks. Your better off eating at home then here!

Disappointing. My mother and I were looking forward to a tasty meal at this self-billed "Italian-Brazilian" restaurant and were very disappointed at the quality of the food. We arrived relatively early- about 6pm- and had our choice of seats; the only other diners were two families with toddlers and a couple of guys at the bar. The waitress was prompt and efficient without being intrusive. My mother ordered lasagna- which looked like yesterday's leftovers from a day or two before- dry and not flavorful at all. For $16- she expected (and reasonably so) better quality and perhaps a side dish or salad. I ordered the Chicken Marsala, which was fairly tasty and did come with a side dish of not-so-fresh veggies- the hunk of broccoli (and I do mean hunk) in that mix was partially frozen! Again, for $19, I expected more. We did not order drinks or dessert, so I cannot comment on those offerings. Based on my experience of last night, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Very good mix of Brazilian and Italian Food. Great restaurant! Friendly staff. Brazilian style pizza! Chiken Catupiri, Portuguese, Amoda, and Chocolate! Quiet and cozy! One of the best restaurants in Kendall! Great Frango a Passarinho...

Not impressed. I went for lunch and ordered a pizza. The pizza came and it was average but the worst part was that there was a hair in my pizza. Got a new one but really had lost my appetite and still had to pay for it. I also went for dinner with my husband and the place was empty. There were 2 tables occupied. We were to be seated in a cramped 2 seater table and requested a change but was informed they couldn't seat us anywhere else. Needless to say we walked out. Won't go back.

Great Italian locals spot. Papichi has a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. The wait staff was very warm and welcoming, even knowing some customers by name. It seems that there are a lot of regulars. Lots of wine selection, generous portions, friendly atmosphere, and most importantly, the food and pairing were perfect. I'm definitely interested in going back to try new dishes. Even though I was full, I had to try the Chocolate pizza for dessert. (worth it!)

This is a good place for homemade Italian without a stuffy or busy atmosphere. A good mix of families, groups and dates.
