Editorial Review for Bova Ristorante – by Holly Hickman
In Short
This $5.5 million-dollar restaurant's luminous white exterior features a solid wave of white material cresting over high white arches, and contrasting against the red-tile roof. Inside, mahogany floors complement the alabaster marble tables, snowy leather banquettes and gauzy curtains separating areas of the dining room. Appetizers range from rice balls stuffed with buffalo mozzarella to pan-braised baby artichokes. Entrees include carpaccio, roast chicken with polenta, and wild salmon with butter beans.

On vacation in FL we had a Friday night dinner at BOVA. It was a wonderful experience, we had made reservations over a week in advance and there were only two seatings left, so I would suggest making reservations for a weekend well in advance. As soon as we showed up we were immediately seated at our table. The restaurant has a very modern and comfortable feeling, but not all tables are very large with the size of the dishes they use. As a group we ordered both from the specials and the standard menu and did not have one complaint amongst all 4 of us. The service was very professional and was on top of all of our requests. The only flaw although small, was that the live music from the band seemed a bit loud throughout the entire restaurant. Overall this is highly recommended and would return.
Pros: Food, Service
Cons: Live Music

This restaurant has the best food in East Boca, hands down. They have the best mozzarella and tomato which they call mozzarella di bufala spiedini (ask for extra relish) and the sea bass is great. FYI, they have a water menu...yea you heard me right, a menu for water! Thursday nights are great if you are looking to people watch but I highly suggest making reservations or else you'll wait for at least an hour for a table. Drinks are poured with a heavy hand as well...enjoy!
Pros: food, atmosphere, drinks!
Cons: gets packed on Thursdays...come early to eat and stay late to people watch
