Today September 16, 2007. The bouncers at this so called "venue" assaulted 2 attendees. It all begun when Person A (names will not be used) was on stage in order to sing along with the band. It was then that the 1st bouncer threw Person A face first to the floor. Person A was then picked up off the floor by the 2nd bouncer who proceeded to place him in a choke hold. Person A began to change color from that lack of oxygen and blo0d flow. Person B interfered by pulling the Bouncer 2's arm and telling him that Person A could not breath. It was then that bouncer 3 picked him up and dragged them both out of the venue. Things did not stop there how ever, for the person at the door began to instigate what could become a violent "solution". Person B made a comment out of frustration "!@#$ your venue" and walked away. What else is one to say when you are being sized by 3 bouncers and a Door Man? From there Door Person instigated by following the Person A & B and saying " COME SAY IT IN MY FACE" repeatedly. Which in reply Person B stated "H i t me and I will s u e you and make sure your venue gets shut down". Things did not stop there how ever. The bouncers attempted to not let the family and friends of these 2 persons out of the venue. And it was there that the door man h i t person 3 in the face. Why this happened I am not sure, I hear it is because person 3 attempted to talk to him. I was not present at this time. I believe Studio A is completely over rated. Any venue who hosts a show & throws people off the stage face first because they want to sing along should consider sticking to DJs in a booth.

Pros: Good Bands

Cons: Why go to a place you are going to get assualted by the staff?!?!?!?!

Finally!!!! A venue in Miami which caters to the off-the-mainstream crowds...I have attended 3 concerts in the same spot within one month: Ladytron, Brazilian Girls and Cultura Profetica.....conicidence? Think not!! The decor is simple- yet chic enough to make you feel you are in a completely different city. Drinks are pricey, but who cares?? Ultimately, they give me what I crave for...live performances from some of the hottest talent out there! Now, how's that for a change??
