One our family's favorite Mexican restaurants. We eat there on a frequent basis and have never been disappointed!
Affordable, Quality Mexican Food.
Although there are other Mexican casual places in the area, I always choose Lime. Why? Because I like the fact that they use only Humanely raised meats and because I am a salsa/hot sauce fanatic! With that in mind, you cannot beat their hot sauce selection or their salsa bar (all homemade btw).
Aside from that, I keep coming back because the staff is always very friendly, it's clean and $7-$10 for quality food is a great value in my mind. Check them out soon!!
horrible place. Stick with Baja Fresh or Chilorios.
The food is overpriced for what it is. It's basically Taco Bell but with some gimmicky spin put on it by the owners/founders who started on South Beach.
The food quality sucks. The food is $8-$10 per entree and unlike Baja Fresh or Chilorios this does not include any side. That's right, you get no pintos, no rice and beans, no salad. You get a giant tasteless burrito plopped down on your plate with nothing to accompany it. The food is very heavy on the refried beans and light on ground beef or steak in the case of the quesadillas.
In fact I had an awful steak quesadilla there.
The service is bad, the managers are rude.
If you order the "free water" they give you a clear plastic cup the size of a thimble so you have to constantly get up to refill. It's supposed to shame you into buying a soda drink.
I can't say enough of how awful this place is.
I have absolutely nothing to gain or lose by writing this since I'll recommend Baja Fresh, Chilorios or even Taco Bell over this any day
So-so. As far as less-than-authentic Mexican goes, this place waffles between disappointing and pleasing. I was impressed at first, then they removed my favorite item (mole burrito) from the menu. Over the past few months, I've been losing faith in Lime as they've been inconsistent with their offerings (burritos have been either swollen and filling or meager and unsatisfying). Their food has always tasted good, but for the concept that they seem to have adopted (somewhere between fast food and casual dining), their prices are too high. I can no longer justify spending $10 for a burrito and iced-t that may or may not be satisfying when I can go across the street to Chipotle and be confident that I know what I'll get. However, at its best, Lime is 10x better than Chipotle, but I never know when I'll get Lime's best and when I'll get a mediocre effort from them. Suggestion to Lime: at least be a little more consistent with the amount of chips you dole out - sure, it's nice to get a few more chips than normal during one visit, but how do you suppose I'll feel when I get less than the normal amount on my next visit? I fear that Lime may not be immune to the ostensible Miami dining ethos of "eff the customers." I can't recommend that you avoid Lime, but I don't wholeheartedly recommend that you patronize them either. If you go, just don't believe the hype, go there with realistic expectations. Oh and try the fish tacos, they're a little messy, but they're tasty, and the mess is part of the fun of eating them. Finally, if you're like me, and you love tortilla chips, don't risk being disappointed with the gratis handful, buy a basket of chips (it's refillable). Just don't expect a super cheap meal.
What a mess!. This place is a complete mess. i cannot believe anyone would recommend it to anyone - well maybe as a bad joke. Will anyone open up a REAL fresh mex restaurant around here?
Lime- BEST mexican food ever!!.
The person who wrote the review before me is CRAZY!!!!!
Chhipotle has nothing on lime. Lime's food is ALWAYS fresh. Their food is bursting with mouth watering flavor. All of their food is amazing. The quesadillas are great, the lime signature burrito is also yummy. Try the guacamole, it is my personal favorite! Lime is not expensive. you can get a meal for 7 or 8 bucks and it is the same quality (if not better) as if you were to dine in a "sit down" restaurant.
Nothing Special. I've been here several times b/c its fast and in my area. Their mediocre and over-hyped food is barely above average and a bit overpriced. The only reason I gave them two stars is that they have a nice salsa section, but that alone is not worth going. If you want great mexican for a good price try Chipotle Mexican Grill on Biscayne and 150(-/+). Its just across the street in the same plaza as Wine and Spirits. Much better, cheaper, faster, and to top it of, it's all natural (no hormone products). It just opened. Enjoy!!!
Always a good choice. Good food nothing fancy but quick can be crowded during lunch realy good salads the service can be a little confusing if you are a newbie

love, love, love great prices and great every time.
I just love Lime. I am so happy it opened up near my house. Even if you don't like "Mexican food" you should still eat here. I get the Mexican Cesar salad with chicken but its nothing like the "normal" Cesar. It's lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, either chicken or steak, tortilla chips, and I add guacamole.
Everything in there is always good and its fast and great prices.
I recommend this restraint. You pay first and then wait for the food to come. Sometimes getting a table can be annoying because the outside is always full, but you can sit inside.
