As far as less-than-authentic Mexican goes, this place waffles between disappointing and pleasing. I was impressed at first, then they removed my favorite item (mole burrito) from the menu. Over the past few months, I've been losing faith in Lime as they've been inconsistent with their offerings (burritos have been either swollen and filling or meager and unsatisfying). Their food has always tasted good, but for the concept that they seem to have adopted (somewhere between fast food and casual dining), their prices are too high. I can no longer justify spending $10 for a burrito and iced-t that may or may not be satisfying when I can go across the street to Chipotle and be confident that I know what I'll get. However, at its best, Lime is 10x better than Chipotle, but I never know when I'll get Lime's best and when I'll get a mediocre effort from them. Suggestion to Lime: at least be a little more consistent with the amount of chips you dole out - sure, it's nice to get a few more chips than normal during one visit, but how do you suppose I'll feel when I get less than the normal amount on my next visit? I fear that Lime may not be immune to the ostensible Miami dining ethos of "eff the customers." I can't recommend that you avoid Lime, but I don't wholeheartedly recommend that you patronize them either. If you go, just don't believe the hype, go there with realistic expectations. Oh and try the fish tacos, they're a little messy, but they're tasty, and the mess is part of the fun of eating them. Finally, if you're like me, and you love tortilla chips, don't risk being disappointed with the gratis handful, buy a basket of chips (it's refillable). Just don't expect a super cheap meal.

Pros: Staff is typically friendly and helpful

Cons: Price, inconsistency

This place is a complete mess. i cannot believe anyone would recommend it to anyone - well maybe as a bad joke. Will anyone open up a REAL fresh mex restaurant around here?

Pros: Clean

Cons: Everything else
