Editorial Review for Vino Miami Wine Bar and Boutique – by Holly Hickman
In Short
This Coral Gables transplant, a classy alternative to SoBe's subwoofing club scene, is the brainchild of owner Gigi Olah. She offers a regularly evolving menu of more than 400 wines, mostly from small production boutiques, and has even nabbed an exclusive house champagne. Delectable bits of "wine food"--caviar, French cheeses, chorizo and smoked salmon--enhance the experience. So too do the low cherry tables, soothing side lighting, plush chairs and earthy color scheme.

I have lived in Miami for a year now and have visited this wine bar on a handful of occasions. The customer service has declined with each visit to the extent of non-existent during my last visit. The owner actually left the bar to her non-english speaking Mother who could not answer our questions or service our needs. My partner and I were the only two people in the bar for most of the Saturday night which leads me to believe that others have experienced such horrific service. The few minutes that the owner was present she seemed very distracted and couldn't be bothered to discuss wine and service our needs. My fault, I was thinking it was a wine bar and retail shop. The service was so bad this last visit that I actually have reported Vino and the owner to the Better BB. It was highly unprofessional and irresponsible of the owner to have left her non-english speaking Mother to run the show. Especially when her Mother sat at the end of the bar drinking wine herself ignoring customers. I watched as a few customers walked in and the Mother phoned the owner on her cell in a panic as she could not help the customers. Of course the customers left. What kind of a business is this??? It is horrible and I will never step foot in the establishment again.
Pros: None
Cons: Horrible customer service!

Great place. Perfect if you're looking for something low key and classy in the heart of South Beach. The owner is a gem. Vino has certainly become a regular haunt for me and my friends!
