THE WORST HAIR SALON THERE IS!!!!!!!. I went to a NEWU looking to get a life changing hair style and that's exactly what I got, something that changed it for the worst not the better. I wanted all of my hair cut off into a short curly hair style. I was told by one of the stylists exactly what I wanted and all of the details. However, when I left that is not what I had; not only was my hair butchered but it was straighter than before I had gotten it done. I was told to just do this and that and it'll curl up. I was later informed that the stylist had put the wrong chemical into my hair. I ask to be compensated in the form of a partial refund and I was ignored. I would never recommend this salon to any one, not even my worst enemy. If you want to be beautiful or stay gorgeous, do not go to A NEWU. The service was bad and the environment was unclean and uncomfortable.
