Horrible!

I have come here a few times because I happen to be friends with some of the DJ's that play here. BUT that was before. I will NEVER go back. Every time I had a terrible time. The place is as cheap as it can get with filthy floors and the paint peeling off the walls. The bathrooms are so disgusting its not even appropriate to go into them. Yes, the drinks are as expensive as they would be at any high end club in Miami. The little staff they have is rude and did not treat me appropriately. I also never feel safe in here because the "chongos" are always trying to pick a fight. Plus I have to say that there are a whole lot of underage people in here. The crowd is just plain awful. DO NOT COME HERE!!! Other places in the downtown area are far better. Try Blue Martini, Karu & Y, The King is Dead. Its always a pleasure to hang out in those places and meet NICE people, but definitely NOT METROPOLIS!

• Cons: Everything: terrible service, inexperienced bartenders, expensive drinks, nasty crowd, rude staff.

YO my name is BKLYN i was one of the people that help build the DOWNTOWN METROPOLIS, FRom day one i new this spot was going to be of the chain.. All night long, , music, dancing. partying, it's the top spot in the downtown area....Take it from me, cuase i've been in every part of the club, it's the total package, A place to unwind after a long week of work........... Yo am BKLYN saying Peace.............. GREATEST CLUB AROUND THE MIAMI AREA

I was there on a Saturday night, it was intense, the music was amazing, there are fights but let me tell you, when the music is electronica and not hip-hop the people are completely chilled.

i recommend this place, its been renovated with better staff and in general.

• Pros: parking, safe, no underage, cool people
• Cons: low-class hip hoppers ruin the atmosphere sometimes
