Luxury department store for the young and hip focuses on both established and up-and-coming designers.. In Short
Started in 1923 as a men's store, Barneys is now a lab for emerging designers. Prada bags, shoes and men's and women's clothing from designers like Donna Karan, Miuccia Prada, Vivienne Tam and Helmut Lang make name-brand fanatics swoon. Barneys also carries hard-to-find lines like the celebrity-adored Kiehl's natural skin and hair products, in addition to a house label and hot maternity fashions. Some locations feature a bridal salon and gift registry.

A Piece of New York In Miami. Hi,

I'm just thrilled with Barneys in Miami.

Since moving here I've found one store where I can get all the designers I love!

A little familiarity.

The best products by far:

Lipstick Queen--- The best lipsticks around! Katerine Heigl is a big user of them, and Poppy King the creator of LQ products came out with a book too..."Lessons of A Lipstick Queen"

Barton Perriera Sun glasses.

For those who don't think they can pull a Jackie O but wish they could these are the shades for you.

Actually a combo of a cool pair of shades and lipstick queen lips...now we're talking!

I also gotta say the staff at Barneys are aboslute gems.

Really helpful and friendly. While there I feel a whole lot less homesick!
