Amazing Food!. Took a first date here since I heard the food and service was outstanding. Staff was very attentive and we were given a more private table in the back of the restaurant close to the open kitchen. We both ordered a salad and shared the steak and it was one of the best steaks Ive had in Miami.

Fine Steak Place. This is one of the best steak places in South Florida however can be packed with challenged servers. The quality of the bread is superb as are the steaks.

Good food bad service. I am a South Beach local I love the food at Prime 112 but last night the service was the worst ever. I was treated bad along with my girl friends. The waitress was upset about bringing us drinks our glasses where empty. She was so rude and unhappy with her job. She also did not count the money right and accused us of under tipping, She recounted and

Very Disappointing!. We were 4 for dinner & 1 person was late for about 20 minutes. Although the restaurant was practically empty, since it was an early dinner reservation, they did not allow us to sit at our table until the late party arrived. They would only offer us to sit at the bar or take a table outside. The hostess/receptionist was very rude and seemed to be more interested being on the phone than attending to clients. I complained to the manager and he was completely unhelpful, repeatedly saying that this was the policy of the restaurant. His rationale for having this policy was to avoid disruptions at the kitchen resulting from orders being placed from tables at different times due to additional orders being placed by late arriving guests. I found it interesting that this supposedly fine restaurant would be more concerned about the work flow of the kitchen than about pleasing their patrons. Also, I was surprised to see that there were no tablecloths on the tables. I only saw one table in the whole restaurant that had tablecloth. It was a table that was tucked away in a corner on the far end of the restaurant. I guess this is the table they reserve for their "A list" patrons. Food was great, but extremely pricey! Our waiter was pretty good, which almost made up for the initial bad experience. I don't plan to ever come back to this restaurant. I suggest that if you are looking for a good steak and good service in Miami Beach, you go to Smith & Wollensky instead

Good Food, Great Bread. I try to stay away from bread but wow theres was great. This is a good spot, its hard to get in without reservations so book ahead. Theres a historic hotel ontop and the scene is always buzzing. Recommended.

average food, will not return. Finally we found a reservation at 7:30pm after trying for several wks and refusing to eat at 11 pm.The valet parking was $20 ,and greetings at the door were proper ,we were seated rather fast considering the place was full.

Our dinner was ok,the lobster bisque was enough for 2 ,maybe 3 people, and it had a generous amount of lobster meat and had a great flavor and consistency, the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake was kind of plain ,it really tasted like chicken. We both ordered fillet mignon and they came fine, I did not found a significant difference between the 8 oz and the 12 oz,beef was standard or at the most select but not prime .We shared the Dulce De Leche Bread Pudding ,and we were both disappointed by the appearance, the texture and the taste ,it was a bad dish ,the ice cream was ok, as well as the espresso. This the kind of place I think is okay to go once but I am not planning in retuirning any time soon,I think they are plenty of better choices in Miami like Red,Gothan,Tuscan,Ruth Chris, with way better real prime steaks.

RUDE STAFF...but amazing food. Ok, I have dined at Prime One Twleve manyyyy many time. And my family has dined there for years, I felt compelled to write a review after just being fed up.

I will give credit where credit is due - the food at this place is amazing. And I am a very picky eater and think that I have a pretty mature and experience palette. And Im saying the food here is veryyy good. BUT, this is the MAJOR draw back of this place, the service that you receive at the front of the house is just HORRIBLE. I have never had any problem what so ever with any waiter. The wiaters have all been excellent. BUT be prepared if you go to get treated like crappp by the hostess' at this joint. I mean they are so rude it is incredible.

Unless you are a movie star, singer, athlete...someone famous, or someone with money that they can recognize, expect them to treat you like dirt. Personally I dont really understand why they are so rude, after all they are ONLY the hostess...I mean they WORK there, they dont own the place.

Many ppl no longer think Prime One Twelve is worth going to only because of the aggravation you will have to deal with. There are a 100 wonderful restaurants on the beach that serve amazing food. If they dont up their ante at the restaurant with their service from the moment you walk in. I can pretty much guarantee they'll start to loose alot of money. I will not be going back anytime soon, it is very expensive there, and when I am spending that type of money I expect to get the best of both food and service.

As I said, great food HORRIBLE service. Be prepared to be treated like a dog..... unless ur famous that is.

rude staff - not customer friendly. a party of 20 people who had to call their 'events planner' to schedule the dinner and sign a contract for this large party. she never called only wanted to dialogue through emails which is impersonal. the fixed menu was not flexible and could not be changed. when our conference was running late, i called to delay reservation time from 7pm to 730. they said they could not and that we had to be done by promptly 930pm. which was a lie (i'll get to that shortly). so we rushed our conference to get there on time since we wanted to have the time w/ our folks. when we got there they said that the reservation was for 18 and was very inflexible to add 2 more seats even though we said we could 'sqoosh' together. we had to speak to the manager to communicate how the waiter was insulting our guests. many were from europe. the food was a prix fix menu and we could not deviate from the menu. we only had to speak to manager to add a few changes to accomodate some dietary issues. unreal! even though we spent $4000 the service was poor. i felt that they didn't want our business. i know south beach is pretentious but we were paying $4000 and the service was poor, food average, and the overall attitude of the restaurant poor. we will never have an outing at any of the myles restaurant group again.

WASTE OF MONEY & OVER RATED. Absolute Graphics PRIME 112 RESTAURANT? WTF? First of all if you want to impress your lover with an awesome dinner date and want to spend the same amount as you would but with better service, romance and class just do the following: Call Chef Ingram @ 305-360-1352, he will meet with you to find out what will be the best dinner for your... occasion. You will not be disappointed and you will gain outrageous brownie points. Now Back to Prime 112, this place is clearly for the name brand people. People that are not concerned with good quality and service but more so with Gliz & Glam and unknown fame. The food simple is at best a high priced Red Lobster, but less romantic. Two of three of the meals we tried were sent back, The shrimp were large but fried extremely too hard, The much ordered Sea Bass simply did not taste good and was tried by two people. Although the service was good the food was over priced and with the 18% gratuity my meal for one person still ended up being $125. Further, if you like myself love to enjoy a nice cognac, you should have it before you leave the house. Cognac starts at $35 to over $400 for a glass. As far as i am concerned there are hundreds of fine restaurants in Miami that will satisfy your Hunger, Wallet and dinner Company far more than Pime 112.
