Best off site car rental ever. We ericed to the ft lauderdale airport just to find out there was some boat show going on and every one wanted 100 bucks a day for a car we went online and global came along we called and they came and picked us up at the airport and gave us a brand new Nissan for half the price very Friendly and professional staff they made our trip!

Worst car rental ever. Very frustrating.. We were picked up after 40 minutes of waiting at the airport, and given the wrong type of car when we arrived?a compact instead of our reserved minivan! We were told that if we wanted the minivan we could come back in six hours, or use the compact for the first leg of our trip (3 days) and pick up the minivan at another location.

We finally agreed to take the compact for the 3 days, but only because they had no other cars available and had already kept us there an hour and a half. The compact (the same car they picked us up in) was smelly and dirty?including freshly chewed gum in the cup holder.

When we returned the car 3 days later we were charged for 4 days because we were two hours past the time we had originally rented the car. The wrong car. They refused to credit us the alleged extra day, even though we would have never even been there three days later if they had bothered to honor our original reservation. Calls to upper management practically put my wife in tears. Oh, and they make you sign a blank credit card voucher and leave it with them, even though they imprint the card on the rental agreement. Just you try to get that voucher back or have it destroyed.

Of course, we were always free to take a taxi from their remote location and return to the airport to try to find another car. There was something mumbled about cancellation policy or a days rental fee or something. Who knows? When they were talking to each other about the situation and us, they spoke only Spanish.

If you still want to rent from them, print your paperwork and be prepared to argue.
