glad i finally went!

Finally went to The Room for the first time last night (a Saturday) and it was great! Definitely very crowded - get there at 9 if you want a table - space is EXTREMELY limited. Great selection of foreign beers, cool vibe, great music (though it was a little loud for my taste). Everyone there was having a great time. If you like this place, I recommend the Extreme Cafe on 4th - it's got a very similar drink selection, more space and is less crowded.
- Pros: good location for after dinner drinks; awesome beer selection
- Cons: hard to get a table

the best beer selection in on the beach, with a great atmosphere. minimalistic & sparse, but the locals make it welcoming. the bartenders know how to deliver. a haven south of fifth & awya from the general mess that is south beach.
- Pros: selection. great bartenders. intimate. GREAT indie music.
- Cons: small space that gets crowded on fridays & saturdays.

When to Go:
It's a small, yet lively, space. You will want to head over on a weeknight or early during the weekend if you want to grab a seat. If not, there's no harm in standing around a crowded bar with a beer in your hand.
Look Good:
Take your fancy cocktails and hard liquor cravings elsewhere. This laidback bar serves just beer and wine, though the beer selection is massive.
The Extras:
Feel free to throw your next party in the club. The venue will even suggest a few caterers if you want to add some nourishment between the ales.
