Cuban and Latin Food.
We have been going to eat at this restaurant for more than seven years, food is good the table service is good, but we could not believe what happen on 12/29/2010.
we went to get food to go, while we wait ,we hask the girl in front for a cup of water. when we got the check theyn had charge the to go container $0.15 and the cup of water $0.15.
the total check was for $52.00
this is the most ridiculous and low class act we had ever experience in a restaurant of this class.
Be ware when you get your check, they may charge you for the electricity or the soap used to clean the plates.

RE:Still the best Cuban Food.
When we first moved to town, Casa Larios was a recommendation of a local, and after having been there many times, it has yet to disappoint. The service has always been good, the atmosphere lovely, and, mostly importantly, the food has been excellent. We are well traveled foodies who are not easily impressed, but this is a great place. Now that we live in Coral Gables, it's our first choice for Cuban food.

Casa Larios.
they have a min on how much you have to spend on a credit card.. so i bought a few extra things to make the $5.00 min- i signed my receipt for $5.36 and no tip (i took my food to go) when i checked my bank account they took out $7.98 instead of the $5.36 i signed for!!!
I dont want to go fight for $2 but i will definitly never go back again!!!

GOOD FOOD, NICE RESTAURANT - LOUZY CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Food is very good. The place also looks good. The service is terrible. The impression that I have received in three different occasions is that employees have not received any type of training in "CUSTOMER RELATIONS". I hope that management is reading this comment and accept it as a genuine "positive criticism".
Casa Larios Restaurant in South Miami must do "something" right away in order to correct their act. Would hate to see it disappear because lack of "customer service" approach.
C'mon guys, you can do it...!!

Good food but...
The aesthetics of Casa Larios are quite beautiful from the interiors to outdoor seating area. The food is quite good as well, try the "tostones rellenas". Where this establishment fails the customer is in service. Upon entering, there is a hostess stand, with no hostess. We proceeded to sit ourselves, when the manager tells us there is a wait for a table. Disregarding our explination about the empty hostess stand, he coerces us to get up and wait by a still empty hostess stand. At the coffee window outside it is no different. If you are anglo looking, don't expect to be served with any kind of promptness. Luckily, my broken spanish gains some attention by the woman taking spanish speaker's orders first, and gives me a scowl. The coffee was good, but a bitter taste was left my mouth.
