Make a grape escape to this shrine of all things vino in the heart of Coral Gables.. In Short
You will find more than just the garden variety chardonnays and pinot noir bottles at this indie-spirited wine retailer. Wolfe's prides itself in seeking out small family growers working out of self-farmed vineyards. In other words, this is the music world equivalent of stumbling onto the last of the indie record shops, spinning the great tunes you will never hear on the radio.

Amazing wine that you can't find anywhere else in Miami, good prices. I went in the store last month and Jeff (the owner), assisted in helping me buy a bottle for a dinner party I was going to. I only wanted to spend around $8-$15 and I was pleasantly suprised to see a huge selecton in that range. So, I bought 3 bottles, two for myself, and was amazed at how good everything was.

I have only one problem, the wine, was simply amazing, but when I went to purchase the same bottles at Crown, they mentioned that wolfe's brings in a lot of their items from small growers that you can't find anywhere else. So, I am now stuck at going only to Wolfe's for wine, which I suppose isn't a bad thing since my last expereince was so good.

I hope this helps.

Btw, Jeff is a New Jersey guy, he also used to manage Norman's restaurant, if you remember that amazing place in Coral Gables.

Great atmosphere, fun time, customer service. We have been buying from Wolfes Wine Shop for years and have always been very happy with the customer service we receive and the knowledge that all the people in the store have about the wines they carry. We also hosted 2 wine tastings there this month (one personal and one for business) and the events were excellent. All of the people that attended complimented us on the place, the wines selected for the wine tasting (we asked the owner to select them all because we are not knowledgeable enough to select) and the experience as a whole. Our experience has been so positive with this wine shop that we plan to host more wine tastings there in the future . . . we already called about one for March.

very friendly and helpful. It's a cute shop, though while browsing it seemed that most of the wines were a bit pricey. Matt (I think) was very knowledgable and friendly in helping me pick out a delicious and moderately priced wine for a dinner party.
