LACKS CUSTOMER SERVICE. My friend suggested I go with her to this retaurant last night as she had greatly enjoyed it with her boyfriend. To my dissapointment I was beyond aggravated by the time I had to get up and ask for the check. To begin with we placed a simple beer and drink order. Her beer came out first followed by the waiter coming back to ask what I had ordered because she failed to look at where I was pointing on the menu the first time. Then my drink didnt come out again for another 20 minutes. I decided to order an appetizer which sounded interesting because it came with guacamole but when the food came out she simply placed it on the table and walked away. She failed to mention that they had run out of guacamole and had taken it upon themselves to switch it to Ketchup..thats right..ketchup. When asked after what happened to the guacamole the waitress went back inside asked whoever she needed to and as she was walking back out found her friends and decided to chit chat for another 10-15 minutes before walking over to tell me the guacamole situation. At this point I really should have gotten up and left but I was famished so decided to order a panini. By the time the panini came out we had no more water or drinks. She didnt ask or bother to refill the water but simply dropped the food and walked away. I got about half way and when I waved over to a young boy to get a water refill he turned the other way and started looking for her. REALLY?? I had to wait another 5 minutes and at the point I asked her to wrap my food to go. She walked away with the plate, then put it down on the hostess booth outside while she got menus and sat another couple down. UNBELIEVEABLE. I couldnt wait another minute and had to go inside to request my check. I am extremely dissapointed of any establishment that thinks that the decor of the restaurant is enough to make it sucessful. Customer service is lacking and I can't believe they couldn't even come up with a more creative substitution to guacamole other than ketchup.

Best tapas, First Gastro Pub in town. I've been to a couple of Gastro Pubs in New York. Q seems to be the first gastro pub/ tapas bar that moved into town. What an improvement from the old place.

For a town like Aventura, with relatively limited options for a great dinner, lounge or late-night snack, this is QUITE A CHANGE!!! Maybe it's the chef's training in London has made an influence in his gnocchis, or the concept but it's worth it. Amazing shrimp, panzanella salad, and prosciutto and mozarella sandwich. Great mojito and Caipirinha! Went with 5 friends and loved it. A MUST for tapa lovers! A must for creative drink lovers!! Highly recommended. Go with friends!
