Nice rooms, good service. The hotel was really awesome. The room was extremely clean, tidy, attractive, and modern. I LOVED the fact it had crisp white clean cotton sheets and comforter, and not the usual polyester comforters and fuzzy peach-skin under blankets. The service was excellent, although I was a tad ticked that we had to go to an adjoining hotel to get toothpaste. Come on, Radisson guys - room-service for that kind of thing is standard even at Motel 6 hell-holes!! Or at the very least, beef up your gift shop! The hotel has fantastic views of the bay (shame the stupid rain got in the way).

Heavy ownership rotation can't detract from great views and convenient location.. The Scene
This hotel has been called The Omni, the Wyndham Hotel Biscayne Bay, the Renaissance Miami Biscayne Bay and the Biscayne Bay Hotel--all within a three-year period. The changeover in ownership reflects the changing face of the area. The mall that the hotel was originally atop, for example, is closed.

The Details
Each of the 528 guest rooms and suites at this 20-story hotel has floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the city or of Biscayne Bay. In 2003, many of the rooms were renovated with cheerful colors. There is also a new emphasis on staff attentiveness and service. An on-site restaurant, Brisa Bistro, offers Floribbean cuisine. By night, the area can be somewhat sketchy, although it is slowly improving. The hotel is just across Biscayne Bay from South Beach.
