The Perfect Romantic Night Out!!!. We went to the Peppermill for my birthday and spent a wonderful evening in a corner table overlooking the waterway surrounding the shoppes. The hardest part was finding the Swiss chalet structure hidden behind an arbor of bougainvilleas. But it was so worth the effort! We had the Coquilles Saint-Jacques (very tasty but small) and a generous serving of Oysters with spinach and Swiss cheese as appetizers, the Trout Werner and Mediterranean Bouillabaisse (which was incredible) as a main dish, and an apple strudel with vanilla ice cream for dessert. We spent only $80.00 taxes and beverages included. You cannot find a deal like this anywhere in Miami, as most of the French or Swiss restaurants have disappeared. "gemutlichkeit"! (We felt were in the 1940's) You should arrive early because it gets crowded. The owner has been a chef all his life. He greeted us at the door and bid us farewell before we left. We walked off our meal at the shoppes and then drove to nearby Macy's in Aventura... What a romantic evening - it was perfect!

DELIGHTFULLY ENJOYABLE. DINING AT THE PEPPERMILL IS A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. THE FOOD IS VERY GOOD AND I BELIEVE THE VALUE IS EXCELLENT. WE FOUND THE SERVICE AND THE ENVIRONMENT BOTH VERY SATISFACTORY. THERE AREN'T MANY PLACES LIKE IT IN THE NORTHERN PART OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY AND IT'S IN A LOVELY LOCATION. WE HAVE BEEN THERE A NUMBER OF TIMES AND WILL CONTINUE TO GO.
