Miami >Salon & Spa Renova In Coconut Grove
Very happy with my cut. My hair looks fabulous and I keep getting compliments. Clean relaxing spot.
6 years doing nails here - Best in area.
I have been doing nails and hair at Renova for 6 or 7 years and can really say that they do a fantastic job, have always been super friendly (a little hectic a couple of times on Friday or Saturday), keep the place clean & sanitary, and its a great value for mani+pedi (love the leg massage, scrub, hot towels).
I have a couple of nail girls I go to most times (slight preference to one), but have been happy with the other ones as well when mine are not available (they have 5-6 nail gals). My friend prefers another one (more of personality click than skill -- all appear to be trained the same).
Recently, have been doing the Shellac permanent nail polish and they look freshly painted & flawless for 3 weeks -- I honestly did not believe them at first but it is true (no chipping or scratching). Shellac costs a little more $$ but I think its worth having perfect polish for 2+ weeks.
I sometimes get my hair blown out while I do my manicure (convenient) and do highlights & a cut every few months. My hair looks great. I do watch them do hair while at the pedicure station and see beautiful work.
Now open on Sundays too.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY$$. I chose Renova spa because I was visiting Miami over the Christmas holidays and needed a nail fill. I have pink and white acrylic nails. (This is a type of nails I have had for years…not a new technique.). I called the day before for an appointment for a pedicure and pink and white fill. Although the hostess and manager were very polite, the nail technician was rude and put out with the nail fill. She was uncoordinated and sloppy. 3 hours later I left the salon. The pedicure was listed for $35 and the fill for $50. When I checked out of the salon, I was charged $135 for 3 hours of pain and a poor nail fill. Do not attend Renova salon if you value your time, nails or money.
best eyebrow waxing!. Miriam shaped my eyebrows beautifully and had the most relaxing gentle touch! I've had my nails done here too and they're amazing! (great cappuccinos too!)
#1 For ALL My Spa Needs. This is my #1 choice for spa needs. From the friendly staff to the great service I could NOT have been MORE pleased. Its great always and at all times. Thank you!
Amazing Facial. Having been a client of Salon & Spa Renova since before they really opened, I was saddened to see my favorite estitician leave but the owner Orlando assured me that I would love the new addition to the team. Welcome Ana Lopez. Ana is a Pevonia specialist and her facials are more than amazing, all I can say is WOW! My first visit Ana spent over an hour talking to me about my skin issues and suggesting an ongoing treatment plan to get my face looking less stressed and in 2 weeks my skin feels wonderful and I have come to really enjoy spending my weekly hour with Ana. Ana is professional to a fault, does not push product, suggests product and procedures to you with definite awareness to costs. She genuinely is concerned with how you feel and look. Highly recommend that you call NOW and book an appointment with her. As to other services, Orlando is the best at keeping my hair looking youthful and fresh, and my new mani/pedi favorite is Kathi, but all the nail techs are great. Ask Wanda to make you a cup of coffee and hope that Orlando asks her to wash your hair. Her head massage is out of this world! Wishing Orlando and his team continued success.
BEST SALON IN TOWN. I go to Salon and Spa Renova at least once a week for the last several years. I not only get my hair cut, colored, conditioned with Orlando who is the best, I also get my manicures/pedicures and facials with Rosy and have even had their ear candeling service (which I highly recommend) They are a complete salon and spa. Several of my family members as well as friends also enjoy their wonderful services. Make sure when your there you enjoy their delicious Cappucino.
Great hair color. After a disappointing hair color experience at another salon, I decided to meet with Orlando at Renova for a consultation. Orlando took the time to explain "color101" and discuss the best hair color options for me. Unlike any other colorist I have had in the past, he listened to all my hair color complaints and expectations. Orlando pays great attention to his clients' specific requests and the result is excellent hair color. He makes sure that you are both on the same page so that you get exactly what you ask for. I strongly recommend Orlando for both hair color and styling.
Great color correction.
Orlando did a terrific job correcting my orange hair! lol It was truly horrid and he turned my look around. I felt like a movie star walking into a premiere when I was done. Subtle, believable color where there was only bad roots and fried ends at least 3 different shades. My hair felt in great condition too. Oh, and the shampoo included a wonderful head and neck massage.
If you have fried hair and/or need a good color job, this is the place!
Absolutely the best colorist in town. I wandered into Renova shortly after they opened in search of a new salon with someone who could really do good color. Not only was I impressed by the time Orlando took to just talk to me about his views, his products and what he could do for me, but after that first appointment, I was sold. He is an amazing colorist. I have never looked back. He is always looking for ways to make his business a success and tries to please every customer. How refreshing that is! I would recommend Renova to everyone.
