This is in response to the review dated December 12, 2012. Our company Gray Dolphin Pools & Construction, Inc., was contracted to complete a swimming pool renovation for this specific client. At the time of our renovation to the swimming pool there was renovation being done to the home. This homeowner requested to our company to complete a swimming pool renovation without a permit but our company is very responsible and refused. In the meantime, the home was being renovated without a permit. Our company is being accused of DEFECATING IN BUCKETS, AND LEAVING THE BACKYARD MESSY. This homeowner is accusing our company without any evidence as at the time other workers were renovating the home. It's amazing how client's list complaints but they do not speak the truth. If our company had to delay our work it was as a result of the homeowner being late on there contractual payments. We perform our work based on payments made. If payment's are not made on time we will MOST DEFINITELY stop work. With regards to the ladder. Our company replaced there existing ladder. Once the client made a complaint we contacted the Manufacturer for the rust spots. The manufacturer went to property and promised the client a Powdered Coated Ladder and the client agreed. It took the Manufacturer 5 Months to deliver the ladder. As soon as the Manufacturer delivered the ladder to our company we immediately delivered and installed. This client spoke to Robert and he informed that the ladder was not under his control as client made an agreement with the Manufacturer.

We did a renovation of our pool. It was done with great work and quality, and are NOW very happy. BUT gray Dolphin CONSTRUCTION and SERVICE, are two different companies, but owned by the brother for Construction, and sister for SERVICE. However Service is fantastic! HOWEVER the work CONSTRUCTION, took FOREVER!! Would come once a week up to two weeks, sometimes would come for an hour, workers would steal our mangoes, bucket full, and leave. Very messy, we have kids, wouldn't clean up after themselves, would blame the paver guy, or the concrete guy for all the left behind debris! They said it would take 1.5 months to resurface our pool and change motor, well it took four months! plus we ordered a certain paver, and came with the wrong ones!! To top it off, the workers would DEFECATE in a bucket or side of the pool, AND LEAVE IT THERE!! Robert wouldn't return my calls, I had an issue with a pool ladder that had to be replaced because the concrete guys didnt think it would matter to not cover our 60 year, cool old school, great quality stainless. So of course had to replace it, with a cheap one, not his fault, but then it rusted in two months!! So replaced it, and TOOK ALMOST A YEAR to replace it!!! so the problem, is they took too many jobs at the same time! Yes not too$$$ but you pay for it later

grey dolphin pools updates on my double roman 03/30/2006-. Well my pool is getting built by them so far so good will update soon, always answer there phones a big plus i here stories of other companys ignoring phone calls for days
