After a long night of wine with friends I woke up with a minor headache and hankerin' for a damn good sandwich. Read some reviews on NY Apple Deli and was convinced that this was the place to go. Went here with a good buddy of mine. First we appreciated all the amazing posters such as the periodic table of sandwiches, epic movie scenes poster, and several baseball stadium posters. Then we looked down at our placemats, and don't be fooled these puzzles are not for children. Been a while since I had a difficult puzzle place mat. Sign of a good meal to come. The place had a good staff as well. Our waitress explained to us what a knish was without sounding condescending.

We ordered the big apple deli melt and my good buddy got the reuben which is critically acclaimed as the best reuben in Miami. Let me just the tell you, the first word out of her mouth when she took bite of that sultry sandwich was WOOOOW! We have never eaten a sandwich so fast. Excitement filled our bloodstreams.

We were nervous to try potato salad since neither of us even like potato salad. We also didn't want to lose the outstanding meaty sandwich taste that was tantalizing our taste buds. The potato salad we tried at NY big apple deli changed our opinion forever on Potato salad. It was refreshing, chilled, not runny, and perfectly seasoned.

Enough about potato salad, the real prize were those mouthwatering sandwiches. There was cheese on both sides of that delicious buttered french toast challah. Meat stacked so high that I didn't think it was physically possible to fit it in my mouth. However it was possible because the sandwich immediately melted and became on with my mouth. I had to take a reuben to go for my boyfriend just so he could experience the eighth wonder of the world.

As we left the restaurant on that sunny sunday we both looked in each others eyes and realized that we had both found our new home. As I turned to my vehicle there was a wacky waving arm flailing inflatable tube man smiling over my car welcoming us back to our Miami reality. We could have sworn that we were had teleported to New York City.

Favorite Deli in MIami. Best RUBIN sandwich in town by far. Cool people , good prices , and AMAZING FOOD !!

Go to a great neighborhood joint. This place makes me feel like I live in a close knit neighborhood. Everyone goes here and The staff has worked here for years. My favorite is the BLT grilled Chicken sandwich adn I have eaten it every day for a month!!! The best chopped salads, bugers, homemade soups, I could go on! Try it!
