STFU!!. I've been TRAINING for quite some time now, and I went to Ballys for YEARS. Barbies is a pretty boy hang out and LA postalita fitness is the same. The only thing you should be concerned with is training hard and going home. Andy....Gang signs? c'mon!! I know all those "gang bangers" that your talking about, and believe me, they're not wasting time throwin any signs up, or worried about YOU for that matter. Stop whining and being such a B*tch and workout...Who gives a sh*t if it smells or if the equipment is old? What kinda man are you? Hoodlum Hangout...Pfffffff!! GTFOOH!! What are you afraid of?

Hoodlum Hangout. This gym is about half the size of a Ballys and about 1/4 the size of SHAQ 24 Hour Fitness. It is poorly maintained and dirty, and any time that you go, you will see a lot of low-life delinquent types yelling and screaming and flashing gang signs at each other. It is kind of crazy. Most of the time they do not bother anyone, but they are obnoxious. The equipment is old and a lot of times some of the machines are broken.

Awful Customer Service Stinky Gym. The only thing good about this gym is it is open 24 hours, but so are the Shaq gyms! I went there a couple of times and paid the daily fee of $5, which is very cheap. However, the customer service is awful. The front desk person was some fat teenage kid who was reading a textbook when I arrived, and he looked annoyed that I was asking him questions. There was some skinny woman who said she was a personal trainer, and she was yelling at another customer and having some kind of argument. She was very obnoxious. It made a bad first impression.

As I walked around the gym, I noticed that the gym just smelled bad. There was a general odor of unwashed stinky sweat, and it was very strong. There is also a bunch of old stationary bikes and junky cardio gear. Some of the treadmills looked like they were at least 15 years old.

This is not a bad gym for an emergency work-out if you only want to spend $5. However, if you are looking for a quality gym experience, avoid this place!

Editorial Review. Back-to-basics gym offers aerobics, treadmills and other cardio machines, free weights, machine weights and personal trainers.
