Performing chefs cook up rustic, home-style Italian entrees at this buzzing family restaurant..
In Short
A boisterous, all-ages crowd of pasta lovers pack this energetic Italian spot, where chefs clad in white hats and red scarves keep diners wide-eyed by showing their moves in the busy open kitchen. The menu boasts family-sized portions of hearty traditional fare, from antipasti, chicken and pasta dishes to seafood, steak and wood-fired pizzas. Signature plates include grilled pork chops, lobster ravioli, and penne rustica with shrimp, grilled chicken and smoked prosciutto in cream sauce.

QUALITY HAS GONE DOWN THE DRAIN.
I can't stress enough how far this restaurant has fallen in my eyes. I used to LOVE the penne rustica dish..yet I ordered it twice in two different Macaroni grills recently...and they were terrible. Not enough sauce, the little cheese they put on top was burnt to a crisp, found maybe 1 shrimp, and the rest of the ingredients seemed to be absent as well.
I ordered the same dish both times while my wife had something else each time. Those dishes were marginal at best. I for one, will not bother with Macaroni grill again.
