THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!. When I was told that I needed a root canal, I was so frightened, and did not know where to go (Hence, I put it off for 1 year!!) But a dear friend of mine highly recommended Dr.'s Mautner and Oppenheimer stating that it was "The Best Experience Ever" (I thought she was crazy,but I gave it a shot!) I had the pleasure to be greated by friendly staff who treated me like royalty. They were very thorough explaining my insurance benefits and co-payment to me**( I dont know what that other persons review was all about!)** The Dr. Mautner was very GENTLE and sweet. I watched a comedy on these virtual reality glasses they had "Chris Rock" to be exact. The injection was painless, the procedure was excellent!

A few months later, I unfortunately had to have another one done( I did not hesitate, on where to go this time), This time I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Oppenheimer. He is also very sweet, and EXTREMELY knowledgable. The procedure was just as good as the first time PAINLESS!!!!!

I give them A+++++ I never felt so happy about going to get a ROOT CANAL!!! I wish they were my General Dentists!!! Definately the BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!

Awesome Experience...not to be forgotton. I had a root canal procedure with Dr Mautner a few weeks ago. This being my first root canal, i was nervous based on the unpleasant stories of pain that i heard over the years. Well i have to tell you ..this experience was fun... i really never had so much fun at the dentist.

The minute i sat in the chair ,i was presented with a menu of shows and live performances for my veiwing and listening pleasure via a pair of glasses and i head phone.I chose Chris Rock live at the Hard Rock Cafe...i figured i might as well laugh my way through this experience.

OMG ...i laughed and laughed ...i didnt even know when the procedure was finished...nor did i want to get out of the chair. What a hilarious experience!

Dr Mautner and his staff were very professional and i was very pleased with the results . The numbing part of the procedure was very smooth and quick...never had it done quite like this. Thank you guys...i really wish upon everyone a dental experience like mine.

Gentle Dentistry. I was referred to Dr. Mautner for a root canal. The very thought of a root canal brought back memories of the horror movie The Dentist (1996). My fears were soon erased by the gentle calming manner of Dr. Mautner and his staff. The facilities were very clean & well appointed. I was entertained by watching Tina Turner in concert on their virtual reality glasses (if you ever need to go there, you must try it). The procedure went so quickly and painlessly that I was disappointed that I did not see the end of the concert.

My general dentist was so amazed at the standard of work performed by Dr. Mautner, that he had to comment by saying, "That's what I call precision and pin point accuracy".

I highly recommend Dr. Mautner and his staff.

Re: Awful experience!!. I have serious concerns about their service. As I walked into the office I requested a breakdown of the expenses along with my insurance coverage. I was told it was going to cost me $ 826 and that my insurance would cover the rest. I was never given the breakdown I requested. Foolish of me, I believed them! I was in such pain that I decided to pay for their service right away.

Later on, my insurance company explained to me that the total charge for ADA code D3320 Root Canal Therapy – Bicuspid Final Restoration should be $ 1,350 with a $ 331 co-payment. They charged me a total of $ 826!! They accomplish this by including several items that were NOT needed in the root canal therapy (i.e., D0150, D0220, D0230, D0460, D3331, and D9951). I also confirmed with my insurance company that these items should not be charged to the client. Furthermore, two of the items they were including in my bill were not covered by my insurance company at all (i.e., D0460 and D3331) and were never explained to me prior to or after the therapy.

This was not appropriate and it failed to meet the standards of professional service and care to the client. They took advantage of my ignorance by not providing me with the information I requested from the beginning and overcharging me for a root canal. Be extremely careful with these “professionals”! I would NOT trust them!!

Great Experience with Dr Mautner. I went to Dr. Mautner's office for two root canal treatments. I consider myself a difficult patient because I am very afraid of the dentist. He immediately put me at ease. He was patient, caring and compasionate in the way he treated me. He injects the local anesthetic so smoothly that you don't even feel it. The treatment is a breeze. On my second treatment I forgot my prescription at his office and had to call him after hours. He immediately called me back and called my prescription to the pharmacy. I highly recommend Dr. Mautner for his expertise and his wonderful staff.
