In Short – The name "Bloomingdales" tends to evoke the grandest visions of luxury, but in reality, the selection of merchandise is fairly balanced. For each trendy or high-end fashion designer represented--including Donna Karan, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein and Kate Spade--there are just as many private and lesser-known labels for more budget-conscious shoppers. The store also offers an array of purses, jewelry, accessories, cosmetics, shoes, luggage, housewares and gifts. Wedding registry available.

Worse and Worse service and no merchandise

Bloomingdales use to be the gold standard for service and merchandise. But for the last 4 years Bloomindales at the Falls has fallen way below my expectations. They do not have any merchandise. No mature petities, no high end pens (actually no pens at all when they use to carry Mont Blanc) no greeting cards, no boys clothes and their service is deplorable. No one answers the phone when you call. There are barely any sales people and when you do get one they are not very knowledgeable. I am very disappointed with Bloomingdales. I ttried talking to a manager but his assistant will not let you. I even wrote an email to Bloomingdales New York and their answer was simply "thank you for telling us" and absolutely no apology or suggestions. I will not shop here any more. NOT RECOMMENDED

What A Day!

Whew!! All day getting fabulous new haircolor, fabulous fresh skin the only thing missing was a great new outfit. After less than 15minutes of checking out some cool skirts I found just what I need to round out my updated look. No lines at the cash register and the saleswoman was sper-nice. I'm going out tonight and know I'll be followed around all over-and I don't mind it one bit. It's such a relief to find such great stuff so easily. Nothing like lookin' good to make you feel good.

Why bother with discount stores when Bloomies has the very best sales around! If you wait long enough, almost everything goes on sale. All of the merchandise is top quality and when they put it on sale for 50-60% off, plus another coupon from The Herald, how can you go wrong? It's all new, and in fashion- not all picked over and old-looking. You can really stretch a buck here!
