Excelent Colombian food, make sure to go early on Fridays and Saturdays because it gets packed after 8 pm..
Cannot understand why this restaurant is classified as "Mexican". The very name, Monserrate, is the name of a hill in the middle of Bogota (capital city of Colombia) that has a church on top of it and receives pilgrimages from all over the country and abroad. This is a typical Colombian food restaurant with a great variety of dishes like "Sobrebarriga", "Sancocho", "Bandeja Paisa", "Bistec a Caballo" and others, plus appetizers such as "morcillas", "chicharrones" and "empanadas colombianas".
The food is of very good quality and very affordable, I rate at least 8.5
