I am shocked by the posts receiving excellent service from this organization. While there are a couple doctors there like Flicker and Dones that are excellent, the office staff isn't. Office manager is very rude and we got a feeling that if you don't do and think as they do, you are not welcome as if they were the only pediatricians in town. Dr. Paul is not acutely aware of what it takes to cure a sick child the first time. He seems to be old school and prescribe nothing or a mild antibiotic when a child is very sick. We had to go back three times before he took our suggestions! We know our children and suffered needlessly for two nights! When we brought this up to the office managers' attention she basically sent us a letter stating that we were no longer welcome there. It was rude and inconsiderate not to attempt to at least communicate to resolve an issue. My children, family and friends that know better will not go back there! Consumer beware!

rejected for care. my child was not allowed to return to this office for care after the first visit unless vaccinated the way the doctors want them to be vaccinated. if you have your own opinion about how you want to vaccinate your child, do not go to this group of doctors. you have to do what they say or hit the highway! if you've got a brain for yourself and like to have input in terms of your child's care and health then avoid this place. if you like to be told what to do and do as you are told then this is the perfect place for you and your child!

RUDE OFFICE MANAGER VERY INSENSITIVE. DR. ESCOBIO AND KELLER ARE VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND COURTEOUS. THE OFFICE MANAGER" RITA" IS VERY RUDE. I ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT INSURANCE AND MADE ME FEEL AS I WAS ASKING STUPID QUESTIONS AS SHE TURNED AWAY SHE ROLLED HER EYES . TOTALLY TREATED ME LIKE GARBAGE... ALSO DRS. ARE VERY RUSHED TO SEE THE NEXT PATIENT....

Best Pediatrics Office Ever. They are the best. I have never had any problems with this office. I'm crazy with my girls, they cough one time and I'm already calling them. They are extremely helpful and willing to answer any questions you throw at them. Everyone is so nice. I recommended all my friends to them. Not to many pediatrics have there own urgent care and are open on Saturdays. These doctors work with the best hospitals in Miami (baptist). Although no doctors office is perfect but they come really close to it. I love them and so do my girls.

Now about these people who disagree with what I'm saying. When you go into and office thinking your the only one there your not going to get the right feed back.

For Example: I' m waiting with my daughter for her 2 yrs check up. There was a descant amount of people there. This is the well side I' m talking about too. This one lady comes in with a 2 month old baby. She gets all upset with the staff members because she wanted to be put in a room because there was to many kids around. So they told her no she would have to wait with the rest of the people that have been patiently waiting to be seen. I was like what do you expect this is a pediatric office and I made my 2 yr go up to the baby to say hi and waited for her to say something an she didn't. Some people think they can come in to a place and own it. They need to wake up.

worst office staff. It is just a headache to deal with their rudeness! They are absolutely the worst professionals I have ever seen. We live just a block away and using them will be just too convienient. however the first time i was in the office I was turned off by their rudeness. Thankfully I didn't need to go to them very often since the kids are very health. But we I called tried to schedule an appointment for a checkup, they first said they didn't have my kids profile in the computer then they finally give me an appointment 2 months' from now! you must be kidding me! with this attitude, who would go to your office? and what I don't understand is why there are 5 star reviews here? Anyone can tell how terrible they are!

LOVE THESE DOCTORS. As a first time parent I had many concerns about vaccination and Dr. Keller was receptive in implementing the SEARS method. Never a long wait, very organized. Dr. Dones and Dr. Escobio are wonderful and knowledgable. I can;t say enough good things about the practice.

Worst pediatricians and office staff ever. This is truly the worst pediatricians office I have ever been into. They doctors lack patience and are more worried about their malpratice insurance (you have to sign a waiver that you will never sue before you will be seen) than they are about providing quality child care. The office staff are like a pack of teenagers who are too cool to talk to you or your child. Forget about human respect or decency for your or your child. You will be shuffled in like cattle, treated like fodder and then booted out. Buyer beware.

Warning! Terrible bedside manner.. I don't usually like to talk bad about others, but as a parent, I would want someone to tell me. Dr. Flicker was okay. Seems like a nice enough man. But the office staff is truly terrible. Every single staff member I came in contact with was rude - seemed like they didn't want customers around - that we were wasting their valuable time. But the cherry on top was an angry tall blond nurse. She started out rude & then got worse. Our 7 month old son had terrible diarrhea. I'd used all the plastic bags I had in our diaper bag to dispose of the mess. And then we had another diaper filled. I asked her where I could throw it away - she told me I needed to take it with me. So I asked if she had a plastic bag I could put it in. She brought me a small ziplock bag that wouldn't have held the diaper, let alone the whole mess. She weighed our son at the end of our appointment with the doctor. She was so rough with him, he started crying (not like him at all). So I picked him up to comfort him. She stood in the doorway & announced that our appointment was over. I said thank you. That I'd calm him down, get him dressed & then we'd be on our way. She said no. We needed to leave immediately. We couldn't even get our son dressed before she pushed us out the front door! If you want kind & sympathetic care for your little one, I don't recommend Kings Bay Pediatrics.

Best Pediatrics Office Ever. I have 2 grandchildren that are seen in this office, both of them have been seen by other offices in the past which can not hold a candle to these Doctors. We have always gotten the best of care here. My one Granddaughter has been extremely ill and she has been in the hospital several times (under another offices care) with no extra concern from the doctor and no real answers or follow-up. Since she started with King's Bay she became very ill, when I called they saw her immediately and then when realizing the severity they immediately sent her to the hospital, but the service did not stop there... they continued to check on her status until they admitted her and then followed up with a visit to the hospital everyday of the nearly two weeks she was in the hospital. These Doctors are all wonderful and I would recommend them highly to anyone.

Wonderful Pediatricians!. I'm shocked at the negative reviews that I'm reading. I'm a first time mom and have been going to King's Bay Pediatrics for a year and a half. I've met with Dr. Keller, Dr. Flicker, Dr. Paul and talked with Dr. Dones over the phone for a minor allergy scare! I would recommend this office to anyone because all the doctors that I've mentioned above were very thorough with my son and seemed completely focused on answering all of our questions. The girls that answer the phone are hardly friendly or helpful. But once you get past them, the nurses are fabulous! In fact, being a first time mom, of course I've had a few questions that have come up between routine visits and I just talk to the nurses because they are so knowledgeable. My advise to anyone who reads this (and previous negative posts) is please go find out for yourselves before you rule them out based on someone's negative experience because I'm very happy that I don't have to drive far, the hours are manageable and I completely trust the doctors' opinions.
