Terrible office staff
by New2Miami
I just moved to the area and was hoping to go to King Bay. It took over a month to get a first appointment, but I overlooked the rudeness of the office staff, hoping the wait meant that the office was that great. I was wrong. My child had an emergency and the office and nursing staff were SO rude to me that I left their office in tears. I would NEVER recommend them. As a first time mom, I expect common kindness. They are cold and rude.
- Pros: none
- Cons: horrible service, rude staff
Use Common Sense

My child has been going to this practice since birth. Although we prefer Dr. Keller, who is the very best possible pediatrician that you could find, we've also seen the other doctors on occasion. Yes, Flicker is smug and lacks basic interpersonal skills, but he's very experienced and a great diagnostician. Yes, Dones can be high strung and opinionated, but she's very thorough and I doubt she'd miss anything. The nurses/nurse practitioners are professional and consistent. I have confidence in their medical ability, and will put up with a little annoyance to get good care for my child.
- Pros: good doctors, access to best care
- Cons: disorganized practice management, crowded, inflexible
Warning!!! Warning!!!

The doctors and nurses my wife and I met at this place are the most uncompassionate, disrespectful, arrogant and merciless bunch of so called professionals I have ever encountered in my entire life. My 4 month old daughter was manhandled so bad they almost ripped her earring right out of her earlobe. My wife and I felt so helpless watching her cry and the nurse tried to deny she did it. In the same visit, they had to stick a cotton swab up her nose. She had her first cold so I guess it was to see if it was a cold or the flu. Anyways, I could not believe how hard and far they stuck it up her nose. They stuck it so far up her nose in fact that when they pulled the swab out of her nose she screamed like she was dying and it was hours before she stopped. To this day, I really hope they didn't cause any permanent damage. On our very first visit when our daughter was one month old one of the doctors told us how fussy of a baby she was and how difficult our lives were going to be. Thanks for the encouragement Doc. After the first couple of months our daughter stopped fussing and started sleeping mostly through the night. Who does this doctor think she is filling our heads with nothing but negativity about our baby one month after she is born? On another visit I asked the doctor a simple question as to whether or not the immunization she is getting could cause autism. What I got back was a condescending reply about how ridiculous of a question that was. He actually used the word “ridiculous”. I told one of my co-workers about how I will never bring my child back to Kings Bay Pediatrics and she told me she also had a very bad experience with them. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR. IF YOU LOVE YOUR CHILDREN AND ARE READING THIS AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!
- Pros: I couldn't find any
- Cons: Uncompassionate, Disrespectful, Arrogant and Merciless
